To expedite FBI Fingerprint submission

Hi

I have submitted FBI fingerprints for my wife twice and got rejected. I have submitted again for the third time in Dec and still waiting for the response.

Is there any way to expedite Fingerprint processing with FBI?

If they reject it again, is there any other way of doing FBI Background check (like name search) ? Does CIC accept these exceptions ? Please advice.

I have submitted PR application while waiting for PCC from FBI. Recently New Delhi CHC sent a Passport request to submit PCC along with passport. Now this one is standing on my way to get PR for my wife. Really frustrating !!!

They do expedite if you mention the deadline in the form as well as outside the envelop I had mine within a month to Pakiland

I called FBI 3 days ago and I was told that 4 weeks ago the record was mailed back to me ?!?!?!?!
Is it possilbe one letter to travel 4 weeks for US to Europe ?????


Any same cases ?

they are very rude i called them once they didn't bother to check anything but still u can call them on 304-625-2000

304-625-5590 they mite let u know i think FBI clearance is the most pain in whole body lol

I called FBI today at (304) 625 2000. They confirmed that they received the request on Dec 17th but adviced me to wait 2-3 weeks more for the response.

Though they earlier rejected fingerprints twice, they responded in a month. This time, it is over 2 months now but they still keep me waiting. I pray that I do not receive negative reply though they take more time. It takes another 2 months to re-submit fingerprints again. But states have not complained on the fingerprints, I got clearances easily. I do not know why they harass people one way or the other.

they told me they are now receiving 15000 applications per day and have increased the waiting time period to 10 weeks dont worry this time you will get ur clearance u just have to wait more

What do you mean rejected?

I got my FBI report back last week after wait for over three months. The report said the prints quality was too low. So I have to start all over again. Like others I've waited for over 3 months so that I can begin PR process and now will most likely have to wait another three months.

It all makes me feel.... Not good about moving here. I only hope now I can get a job relatively quickly by securing a work permit with the help of NAFTA.

Oh wow...I wish I would've read this post before I sent my fingerprints in. When I went to take my fingerprints the lady there said that it was common for the FBI to reject prints due to "low quality" so we did them twice.

She also gave me the option of Fed-Exing the application and having them Fex-Ex it back. She said, this way I could track the package and have them Fed-Ex it back. Unfortunately I decided not to spend the extra money but after reading all these posts, I might go back and get another set done and Fed-Ex them.

It is always recommended to send multiple fingerprints. For my wife, it took 3 turns (2 sets of fingerprints each time) to get the PCC from FBI.

But I have proceeded to apply for my wife's PR even when FBI clearance is due. I have attached a letter along with PR application saying FBI is due and I would send it as soon as I receive it. CHC Missisauge considered this and approved my sponsorship and forwarded the application to New Delhi. CHC New Delhi sent a letter to submit FBI clearance and luckily I got FBI approval just in time. So, I recommend to send at least 3 fingerprints to FBI and if that is the only pending document for you to apply for PR, you can go ahead and apply PR but attach a letter stating that FBI is due.
