I have 4 days left for my ITA deadline and just realized that I am going to need a police certificate from India. I have never lived there but it just occurred to me that my visits back home since the age of 18 have accumulated to just over 6 months.

On a related note, I have yet to receive my USA police certificate from the FBI.

As I see it, I have 2 options
1) Apply for the India cert immediately and explain the late application as above in my CEC application, along with proof of application.
2) Decline the ITA and re-enter the pool to take a chance at being invited again so I can get more time for getting these certificates.

Added to this mess is the fact that my UAE police certificate is only valid till Sept 5.

Any suggestions from experienced people? Thanks!

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Decline ITA.

The expiry date on your UAE police certificate is irrelevant, as long as it follows the guidelines of IRCC it is valid.

Oh you're fine then, you can go either way. If you decline you'd just get another invite at the next draw. If you were down at 420, then it would be a more difficult decision.
Thanks that's good to know! Guess I will do that to be on the safe side.
