I swear I was checking this page over and over since the morning cuz I knew yours will come out today. Last night I studied all the cases from everyone here and I noticed a pattern in the time it takes. But I didn't want to get your hopes up too much as I wasn't 100% sure.

What time did you receive the email by the way?
Can you also please tell me how long it takes for the visa to be actually issued on the passport? do they give you a set date or just tell you we will call you back or something?

Dear Omar,
Your words are touching. I received that email in response to a case specific enquiry I made on Sep 06th. It said sorry for the delay in response, we're in a stage where we require your passport to finalise your application. Do not send it to the embassy direct, visit the VAC with this copy and passport so we don't delay the return of your passport. If you don't provide the passport within the due date your application will be withdrawn and you'd have to re apply (funny thing is I have looked very closely but I couldn't find an actual due date. I hope they didn't send this email close to due date, I am really paranoid for the experience I have been through. I feel anything could go against me.)
The time 3:15 pm UAE time which is 15 minutes after the embassy closed. I couldn't go there today because by the time I received this email my VAC was about to close in 45 minutes. I will go there first thing in the morning and enlighten you about what I will be told. I will pray for you lads.

These people must be ashamed of themselves, for the silver lining if I can get an approval after over staying 8 months, so can you. That bitch scylla always replied to my comments and made me feel miserable by implying I must be lucky if I get the approval and rather must wait. On her face!

Today I have finally been sent an email by the Abu Dhabi embassy in which they requested me to submit my original passport to finalise the application, it also said please send the passport by some due date or this won't be valid anymore and you'd have to make a new application though there wasn't any due date so to speak.
I am very grateful to all wonderful folks for listening and being on my side. May God be with y'all
