But if you think about it on our respective cases, now that we have missed our intakes. What is the likely outcome of our application considering the fact that our classes have already started. Are they going to refuse on those grounds? Are they ask about a letter of deferral or proof that classes are starting in Jan or are they going to ruthlessly refuse? I suggest when you do get approved hopefully do go there and arrange an admission don't let this woeful history repeat itself. Go there and apply for extension of a study permit online. I pray we all get out of this mess...

No I wasnt asked for medical. I think that is because I have lived in Canada for more than 6 months until May this year. Just an assumption. And I already have my study permit valid until 31st Dec 2017. I applied from inside Canada. I had to come to Pakistan in an emergency, during which my trv expired and now I am stuck here with no trv to return to Canada. I have a sad storywollyking said:

Oh my God so you only applied for TRV. yea I doubt you'd be asked for medical because you already had study permit. I was asked for a medical exam even though I returned from Canada in March and was in Canada before March. I applied for everything the study permit and TRV like any one would do first time.
I am so sorry.... but since you're only an applicant of a TRV I doubt you will be refused. In sha Allah all should work for both of us, please pray for both of us... I had a post grad work permit which expired on July 09, 2015 that's when I started to put in applications for masters and I didn't receive an offer for January 2016 until November 2015. By November 2015 my 90 days to restore the status were elapsed and on the advice of a lawyer in Toronto I applied for Temporary Resident Permit to explain why I couldn't restore my status within that 90 day window. As soon as I put in that TRP application I didn't attend my program in January 2016 and rather waited for their decision. I was refused in March 2016 because I couldn't apply within 90 days and was told to leave Canada voluntarily because I was a person without status. Oh, I am sorry to hear that. You have been through a tough situation. I really hope that you get to go soon, InshAllah. I was on PGWP as well. It expired in early July this year. I would have stayed back on implied status if I hadnt had to attend to a family matter here in Pakistan.
