I think he meant to switch PA as my wife is yonger, we have tried that as well. unfortunately she only had 1.5 years of experience in last 10 years.
which does not bring me any upside at this point. I still get more points. I have tried all possible scenarios and pathways, the only question left is

To accompany or to not accompany?

You can definitely go for non-accompanying but be prepared to have to sponsor her under the family class after landing as I don't think you can switch back to accompanying after getting ITA. There's a reason that rule/condition is there.

If you are in pool then your age points are locked and won't change even if it's your birthday. It's officially posted on CIC website.

Really? o_O

The spouse can be changed to accompanying if OP stays above the points cut-off after the change.

Thanks @Canuck_in_uk . I agree with you.

I was not very clear in my previous response, and assumed OP's points would drop below the cut-off based on the info he provided earlier. That's likely but certainly not a given. Thanks again for the additional (and more accurate) info.

Thank you Supercanadian, you truly are super!
We are prepared to do the inland application of sponsorship. but not sure if there is a chance she would be rejected. but sure this is a possible outcome.

Thanks

Mate,

Thanks for the response. do you know if assume that my OP is still above cut off for the next draw shall we switch it back to accompany when submitting e-APR or shall we do that after PPR? at what stage would be possible to do the switching?

Thank you so much for the enlightening

You can do it at any point.

Hi, I have a query regarding accompanying Spouse option with Express entry. With Spouse my CRS score is 443, but by mentioning that my spouse will not accompny then the CRS score is 448. I know it's not a huge difference but I do not want to take risk and want to apply individually. Need help to understand if I get invite, how can I take my wife and kid to Canada on a PR. Can you suggest what difference it would bring in my PR process

448 is still not high enough to get an ITA. Draws are 470+ right now.

You can include your kid as accompanying. You would have to sponsor your spouse after you become a PR. Sponsorship requires that you be in Canada throughout the process.
