Need some advise here all seniors and Santa and mighty gods! I have got a tricky situation, dont know what to do here.

Currently sitting at 439 with my wife accompanying and we maxed out all of our points already. I have CLB 10 Ielts, master degree ECA, my wife has CLB 9 Ielts Master Degree ECA. This only means one thing, I am an old turd!!! Which means next year I wont meet FSW 67 minimum requirement to qualify for EE anymore.

Long story short, in 2 weeks I will have my birthday, not so happy about it, and our Score will drop to 434 and we might have to wait another 6 month or so per the recent predictions and unknown variables, Thanks for that CIC!

my question is that if I shall change my spouse to non-accompanying to get the last chance before I am too old to get in? my CRS will be 442 if she is not accompanying.

Also lets say if I do non accompanying spouse if the next draw(2nd in May) before my birthday(hopefully, please dont surprise me CIC!) the cut off score is 438. will I be able to switch it to accompanying spouse after ITA given for the 442? I have header on this forum it is possible to add my spouse before PPR and landing.

Please help and advice! Thanks in advance.

Do you know that your wife could earn points for her foreign work experience if she had any under NOC 0 A B?

That's incorrect. No points are awarded for the dependents' foreign work experience.

I think he meant to switch PA as my wife is yonger, we have tried that as well. unfortunately she only had 1.5 years of experience in last 10 years.
which does not bring me any upside at this point. I still get more points. I have tried all possible scenarios and pathways, the only question left is

To accompany or to not accompany?

Would you mind disclose your points earned in the following two sections:
CRS-Skill Transferability - Education
CRS-Skill Transferability - Foreign work experience
You should have potential to earn 50 points for each section.

Yup, maxed out already!!! all the points I can get.

Then I would say you don't have any other choice but not accompanying.
BTW, if you ielts score is lower than LRWS 8.5 8 7.5 7.5 for certain ability, you still have room to improve.

Like I mentioned CLB 10, can't get higher than that.

not accompany it is then but if coming draw is 439 and we are above the cut off and tie-breaker, you think before submit for ITA I can still switch back to accompanying in e-APR.

Thanks

Not 100% sure. But after getting ITA, you could change information in your profile. As long as you maintain your CRS above the cut-off point, your application is still valid.

Thanks bro, that is the answer I am looking for. Thanks for the confidence.

Out of curiosity,
Are you a Manager who playing CS or are you a CS manager? BTW, you are Post ITA now?

lol Just a nickname I kept using for years, don't even remember why I got it.
Yes, I'm waiting for the medical status change, got the AOR on May 7.

Nice nice, good to see that Chinese flag on this forum. You can probably tell my age if I tell you I used to play HL and CS. LOL. Just like I told people that I used to write program with punch cards. people think I am crazy with that idea. where would I get the big IBM main frame anyway. not to mention I used to play C&C and Red alert in college and diablo on windows 98.

Haha, kind of figured out your age and explained why you got a lower CRS with high IELTS scores. Good luck with your next draw!
And also don't ignore the Ontario PNP invitation if you expressed your interest to live in Ontario in the system, normally if you have CRS higher than 400, you will get it soon after entering the pool.

If you are in pool then your age points are locked and won't change even if it's your birthday. It's officially posted on CIC website.
