Guys, pls follow these steps before going for meds:

- Do get yourself tested (Especially Urine Test) before going for the final test

- Please avoid strenous exercise-especially weight training/stress of any kind for few days before the med

- Drink hell lot of water on the day of giving test and especially before giving urine sample

- Avoid eating High Protein Diet/Supplements/Non- Veg (especially Red Meat) for few days before the med

- Avoid Alcohol for few days before the med

I wish all the prospective applicants all the best

i m doing this since 1 year but no MR lol :P :P now i feel like there is no blood in my veins just water lol :P :P

Hi there, i have just received my MR and will be doing my medical in a few days from now, my question is I currently have cough and cold, is it going to affect any medical result and what are the tests the doctor is going to do so to have an idea when me and my family go there....Another question, what is the best way in paying the RPRF and to whom should I send or address it?
Thanks....

I would advise that you first recover from your cough and cold since they will take Chest X ray which might become vague due to cough.

Tests will include Chest X Ray- Urine Test-eye test-general physical examination

Demand Draft is the best way and you can address it to receiver General of Canada (I am not sure on this one) if paying in CAD or to your local embassy and pay it in your own currency. RPRF request details the procedure of payment.

I am not sure on whether any medicines shoul dbe avoided or not............consult a doc if you are taking any medicines before going for final meds......... all the best....

Steroids are as such bad for your health,,,,,,,,,,,,y to take them? anti allergics are f 9 because my wife ws taking them when we went for meds

Daash,
Thank you so much for those info, it was really helpful...I really appreciate your quick response...But I'm taking Crestor for my Cholesterol as my medication and I've been using it for years now. You think it would cause problems during the medicals?
Once again, thanks....

I dont think so that cholestrol will create an issue. Although i am not an expert but helath issues that will create unnecessary burden on Canada's system or diseases that are contageous pose problems during meds.

My advice is that consult a physician before going for real meds.........all the best and stay healthy
