It is a great idea to come live in Canada, however coming without a job offer probably not.

To land without an arranged job offer is like having to hope for some miracle, which may of may not happen leaving you grasping for anything that pays, like a minimum wage job at Tim Hortons. Barely a dream situation for someone with high skill.

Having a pre-arranged job offer could also let you see how much are you really worth on Canadian job market. This could help manage your expectations and save from disappointments.

What is the way to go about it? Any matching agencies that are worth talking to? Cold emails/calls? What did or did not work for you?

Could we share some advice/tips on how did you manage to get a Job Offer prior to filing your application?

Don't go through an agency - too many of them are scams. Apply for jobs to companies directly.

If you are in IT then you can easily get a job in a call center or as desktop support job

I basically used
monster and indeed and Canada Hires canadahires.com

just Keep applying and applying and applying.... in order to get calls from agencies and employers... but keep in mind the following:
always Your address should be in the same city of the job you are applying
Apply with different formats, and different wordings which and tailor it for different types of jobs. - try the functional CV, just google it nothing specific about the Canadian CV, its same as world/ gulf middle east countries format.

I was able to find a temp job within 3 months of my landing with 25+ per hour which is not bad as a start. and i'm still getting calls from agencies.

Regards

Thank you for your reply.

But what about being able to get a job offer (pre-arranged) prior to submitting EOI?
Has it been done by anyone?

Sure - there are a few people in the Express Entry section of the forum who have done it. But it's very difficult.

That's an interesting topic. I'm trying to do the same thing. Actually I found an office in Sharjah that can help find a job in Canada but I don't know how reliable it is.
Any help would be appreciated guys.
Thanks

If they want money in exchange for finding you a job then it's probably a scam.
