Tips for 2016 (Future) PGP Applicants

We got the request to pay RPRF on Friday which we paid yesterday and got a email back from them saying we got the fees. When can we expect to get the PPR request?? Medical was done last year May which says passed. All other requested documents also submitted back in October.

Any update anyone. Looks like CIC is sleeping on 2016 cases now. I sent an email to them and just got a standard reply that you application is in process (lol like I didn’t knew about it and they are giving me a news ) such jerks.

I got also request RPRF fee on 3 demcber 2018, which i paid in 7 demcber 2018 still waiting for ppr and my parents medical also expired in 27 decmber 2018, waiting for new respones...

i think my application is under security sceerning which they request RPRF for my parents.

After asking for my parents passports, CIC wants me to re-upload the rprf receipt of my parents (originally uploaded 2017). So I'm still waiting

Finally landed my parents! WOOOHOOO! Thank you to everyone on the forums for answering questions and just being here for support.

Their application started processing in March 2017 (despite being submitted in Jan 2016) and on Jan 26, 2019, they're finally PR. So happy.

It took about 30 minutes at the border -- but then we were there around 8pm.

Received an email from CIC today pre arrival letter. But its still says background check in progress. What does that mean? How long after this. They are so damn slow. Request the champions in this forum could respond .....what next

Hi, any update about ur case share it pls...

Hi, I got Ready for visa request yesterday and they have asked me to send my mom's passport, 2 photos, Pre-paid xpresspost envelope and Annex A which is just your home mail address phone number and other details to send you the passport back.

So i',m gonna send them these today, hopefully will get it back soon with Visa.
