Dear friends
At long last my dad got the copr letter today.
Started in Jan 2016. Not bad timing but much slower than many others on this forum.
Still I have a sticky question.
My parents are living in usa with my brother now.
The letter suggests they send passports to new Delhi via vfs if living in India or express post to Ottawa if living in canada.
What do we do though considering their American situation??

I know we can't send it via courier to new Delhi. Also there is limited time with 30 day warning.

Please any advice will be appreciated. Thanks in advance

nobody mentioned about america so send it to ottawa, what the problem?

Is there anyone still waiting for the process? They asked me to submit schedule A for my parents. I submitted in on mycic account (but it is my account with my parents' file link to it). They haven't said anything. Not even an acknowledgement. It has been 1 months since I submitted. No news. Is there anyone in the same boat as me? They also redo their medical test 3 months ago and passed it.

Dear Yulia
I have read several of your replies in the past to other enquiries. Thanks for replying.
Your suggestion to send it to Ottawa is fine but that would mean sending the passports from the US. Surely that would flag as a problem somewhere. I can't imagine the Americans wouldnt scrutinise and put up obstacles. Can passports even be sent abroad?
Wouldn't it be better to some how get the file transferred from new Delhi to Washington I presume and then it's a within America scenario for sending the passports?

But then how would I get the file transferred,. New Delhi is aware they are living in usa.

Donot send passports out of country, its not legal, passports may get stuck, if possible call parents to Canada and then send to CPCO or call and clarify,

I would contact VAC in USA to submit passports, they are safe and fast.

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...rcc/offices/find-visa-application-centre.html
https://www.csc-cvac.com/en-us/selfservice/cvac_welcome

They have been appointed by CIC for these type of services.

I wouldn't ask to transfer the file as it might delay the process. My parents application was processed in CPC-Ottawa and we used VAC to get stamped in Singapore. There was no issue.

Good luck!

we got passports back in 3 days

On October12 I received medical instructions ie to redo medical for self,my wife and my younger daughter. We will undergo medical on Tuesday ie16th october.I hope this time I mightn't undergo further medical tests as it was cleared in my last medical.

While adding my daughters name into our file she undergone medical on March15,2018.Inspite of this CIC has asked her to undergo medical. What to do? Please advise. My another question is if she does not do remedical her previous medical will expire on March16,2019.While our ReMedical will expire on October 16,2019. What our PR expiry date?Shall it be different for all of us ie her pr will expire on March15 and our will expire on October 16? Please guide me in the matter?
