to all:

i got an email notification today. so excited and in a hurry to check my cic account. they are asking for additional documents but when i tried to open, it always says ''onlineservices.cic.gc.ca sent an invalid response'' now i am thingking and do not want to miss anything coming from them. did anyone from the forum received the same?

Their medicals were done last year.. And background check has also not started yet
File is now with NDVO

Guys i'm still waiting to see any movement to my mom's file seating in Ottawa since Feb 2017 after sponsorship approval. It's been over an year and we have nothing from Ottawa and i can't even link application online. Tried everything but no luck, applied for atip notes nothing in that too. I do not know why they are not even touching these files. My mom is travelling to and from Canada since 2012 as she has super visa, she is widow and she never worked so why the hell they are taking that long for background check if that's what they are doing. soooo pissed man

I'm in a similar boat, dude.... Meds were done in Dec 2016... Ever since then, nothing...

At least to me, it seems like whenever there's an influx of refugees or illegal boarder crossers from the US, applications already in line gets pushed back. The wait is painful, but I don't think there isn't much any of us can do except wait.

did you try inquiring why its been in process that long?
others seem to have moved into decision made rather instantly..

Yes the application is with NDVO.
Don't know about the time...hope and pray its this year

I asked them in January 2018... Their response was the application is being processed according to the order received - which obviously isn't the case...

Finally received PPR yesterday night. Emailed CIC last Friday to follow up on our application. The PPR email came from Manila LVO even if our application was initially processed at CPC-O. ECAS shows DM since Feb. 4, 2018. Medicals done March 2017. No re-medicals requested.
