Has anyone here received a Pre Arrival Services letter from IRCC? I received this letter today but we are still waiting for sponsor approval, no medical, and no pcc request yet. I don't know what is that mean? Still in process

My timeline
Applied 4 Jan 2016
File Transfer NDVO June 2016
Medical,PCC,RPRF asked Dec 28 2016
Medical Done 31 Dec 2016
Now they asked via email dated 21 Nov2017 for PCC, Travel history and 3 Photos for each before 26 Dec 2017. My parents are currently in Canada on super visa .Any comments....

I don't see any pattern at all; so random. Here is my timeline:

Submitted: Jan 2016
Sponsorship Approved: May 2016 (Sent to Ottawa, although parents are in India)
Medical/PCC Request: Apr 2017
Docs Submitted: May 2017

Nothing since then. As the medicals are only valid for a year, I am getting worried. Also, I've read a few posts that they are asking to redo medicals. So insane!

My online status says "In Process" and they updated it recently that "They requested so and so document on so and so date, and we shouldn't submit the docs until we receive the correspondence". Old news to me as we've submitted all of the docs. It also says "Medicals Received".

In waiting mode. Please share if your timeline matches mine. Good luck!

I guess we are all in the same boat here... Those who are not in waiting mode anymore are rarely coming to this forum.
Our medicals will expire beginning February. The eCas says the same as yours. If you call them and get to the automated status details, you may get more details. E.g. mine said "medicals passed" even though eCas does not show this. But this is all, in waiting mode ......

DID they ask you for re-medicals prior to the decision being made? Please let me know as I am awaiting it too.

And if you did re-medicals, when did you submit those?

Yes they did, September 20 it was. But Parents already had the Super Visa medicals done, so they accepted that.

Thanks

thank you for your reply. did NDVO ask you for re-medicals on September 20?

Or your parents did that SuperVisa medical examination on September 20th?
Nah medical request came in Spetember but by that time parents already got their Super Visa. So they accepted medicals done for Super Visa.

Sorry for barging you with lots of questions. Have they sent your parents the pre-arrival service letter yet? If yes, when did they do so?

Usually they send pre-arrival letter prior to decision being finalized. That's why I wondering, when did your parents receive that letter/e-mail after submitting those re-medicals?
