MYCIC still in process, bc in process but in CIC Application status for PR shows decision made now.
Congrats reachmenow. Ur mom PR request email on the way soon
In my case the stuff get complicated since my father was working with ministry of defense.
That trigger his interview from NDVO and further background checks. I hope we will get decision made before expiry of my parents medical in July
But no one knows what will happen. May be remedical
I wonder why they give super visa so easily but on PR so much Background check on retire fellow. Had my father being worked in some private employee or
bank employee etc . PR would have got long time back

Thanks a lot for your reply. It means ND office is changing status at end stage long after starting BC.

dont worry jhutti, it will be soon for you too, PR is confirmed to come , the only thing is little extra wait, hopefully NDVO will try to finalize before July.

thanks,

Hey guys!

CIC requested Medicals and PCC on Feb 24th for my mother and father. We did everything by 8th of March (Including PCC + Medicals), the status has now changed on both MyCIC and eCas.

Here's what is showing now (been a few days now.):

MyCIC:

Review of eligibility We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements. Help
Review of medical results You passed the medical exam. Help
Review of additional documents The additional documents you provided have been uploaded. Help
Interview You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes. Help
Background check Your application is in progress. The next step is to conduct a background check. Help
Final decision Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

And eCas: In Process

1. We received xxx application for permanent residence on January 4, 2016.
2. We started processing xxxx application on February 25, 2017.
3. Medical results have been received.

How much longer until PPR?

Thanks!

I also never received an email for medical request. I noticed other people from my batch getting emails for medical. So I decide to take my mother to do medicals and setup an appointment with a doctor. When I arrived there they checked my file on their system. They found a medical record number. CIC issue this when they are requesting medicals. I did my mother's medical and after few weeks. Mycic showed medical as passed. This was way back in Aug 2016.

Thank you for your reply.

Are your application also from Hong Kong office?
So doctor has the access to the database to see if CIC issued a medical form or not?

For Ottawa (based on 2016 PGP SS),

From IME/PCC Request to PPR:

Avg = 85 days
Min = 29 days
Max = 152 days

Rossie, you have to add this clause, from the time of submission of PCC or medical test results to CIC.
My parents medicals were done on 30th Oct 2016, reached/uploaded to CIC around 4th Nov
PCC was submitted on Nov 22nd
however the request sent by CIC in email on 19th October.
till date no change in BG status, only medicals says 'Passed' or the new updated comments
almost 120 days...

Does anybody else have the following :-\:

MyCIC (gckey): Background Check "Not applicable", i.e. not started yet, right?
And PR application status is "decision made" (changed from "in process" 3 days ago)

Anybody?

My bad, the stat was actually from IME/PCC Rcv'd Date to PPR. Anyway, I added one more column on CPC-O sheet.

Here's the summary for Ottawa cases,

From FILE TRANSFER From IME/PCC REQUEST From IME/PCC RCV'd
to IME/PCC REQUEST to PPR to PPR
Avg = 130 days Avg = 85 days Avg = 62 days
Min = 28 days Min = 29 days Min = 15 days
Max = 240 days Max = 152 days Max = 123 days
