Tips for 2016 (Future) PGP Applicants

I'd suggest waiting for 5-7 days and then send an enquiry by email, just to be on the safe side.

We were in a similar situation - got the email with a request for Police certificate and nothing for a medical exam. Husband called CIC and got a reply that they didn't send medical forms (while in fact they did!).
But it still looked strange for me and I sent an email to CIC and got a reply that "yes, we sent you an email with medical form". But we didn't get anything! So my in-laws went to a clinic for medical test having no forms, just with their UCI #. Glad we decided to double check.

Don't want to put any panic lol but it's always better to check. And when you send a written request you'd get a written reply as a proof, not just a phone answer.

I tried many times to link my Parents's file to my mom's MY GC KEY account, always no applications found.
Anybody knows how to do it?

Guys, I have some questions about police certificate.

Here is the request from CIC email.

*Updated Origina police certificates from each country in which you have spent 6 months or more since the age of 18.

Last November, My father got the non criminal record from our local police station and made a notarial certificate （with English translation) and the notarial office took the original copy away. My questions are,

1, The non-criminal record is dated Nov 2016, and then my father came to Canada and he is still in Canada Now. By the time CIC Hong Kong office review our case, it may be beyond six month. Is it going to be a problem?
2, I don't have a original copy of the record. Can I just mail CIC the notarial certificate?
3, My father lived in Canada for more than 6 month several times in the past. Does he need a police certificate fr Canada?

ecas shows decision made last week but email as of yet. do you know long it takes to get the email. CIC application link still shows in progress. whats your cic application link status shows

I can't get my case linked to my account, tried everything, application # UIC #. Which catalogue I should chose? Family Class (parents and grandparents）？

The applicant whose file got transferred to Ottawa are the ones whose parents are already residing in Canada on Supervisa etc. if anyone can clarify ? Thanks

i chose file#. i think so there have put your family name Capital letter

My ECAS status got changed to "Decision Made" under "Permanent Residence Application Status" today. MyCIC is still showing in progress under "Final Decision". But I have not received any email yet. Wondering how long will it take for the email to come.
