do let us know for how long the immigrant visa is stamped for (time given to do the landing)? as per msgs from others, its 1 year from the day medicals completed or the passport expiry date, whichever is earlier...
and how much time, you were given to send the passports, in PPR request?

Hi! I am on the Jan 5, 2016, 8:52 AM batch, since I received the AOR around May 2016 with my file number, I don't have any update from CIC, is this normal? My situation didn't change, the I have the same job, and I am living at the same address.

We're on the same boat. Still no SA. Same Jan 5 batch and got AOR mid of May.

I am also waiting for SA (Jan 4th batch)

The spreadsheet's new entry tab doesn't work anymore as I thought to update the list today and it kept giving me errors.

After about 3 weeks of submission of passport, my parents received the visa stamped with 6 months validity, tickets are booked and ready to land!

Well, I'm seeing users updating their info everyday. What errors you're seeing?

Besides, what username do you use there? I didn't find any caboy808. Is it irazr by any chance?

My parents' case has got SA and forwarded to Ottawa and now waiting for IME.

Can they do an UPFRONT medical test to accelerate the process?

They have their UCI.

They can surely do an upfront medical. But whether it's going to expedite the processing is something different. It's better to send the report once CIC asks for IME. In this way, you will obviously save some time.

How do you save time if you do it when CIC asks for it? Wouldn't that be the ordinary time?

Or maybe you mean we do the medical but don't send the result? But that's not your option as the doctor Send/eSend the result.

Hello,
I am wondering how you presented travel for the Personal History and Address sections on form IMM5669. In the past ten years, the main activity for my parents are working. However, they do visit Canada from time to time. For sometime trips, they just stayed here for around 2 weeks. For some trips, they spent around 5 months. During the past 10 years, they also visited other countries like US, but just for less than a week. Do I need just put them are employed and put their address in the home country for the last 10 years, do I need to list all the travel in details, or do I only need to list the trip with longer duration (i.e. more than 1 week or more than 1 month) ?

What did you in the application?

Thanks for all the promoted reply!
