thanks, but do I need to wait for 3 years or I can sponsor them as soon as I get my first tax return this year ?

Again, you have to show Notice of Assessment (NOA) or Option C, both issued by Canadian Revenue Agency (CRA) for the last 3 taxation years. For example, if you want to apply in 2017, you will need NOA from 2013, 2014 & 2015 (2016 doesn't count as you won't be able to obtain it in time).

If you're getting your first NOA next year, I'm afraid that you may have to wait till 2020 when you will have 2016, 2017 & 2018 NOA's in hand according to current PGP trend and regulations.

For those whose application is processed in Ottawa, did you get request to update Imm5669 the Background form since age of 18 (not just the past 10 years)?

Also when you filled the form, did you put your parents' residential address a Canadian address?

Thanks!

1 they did not asked.....but they were living at same address for 35 years so while filling forms we provuded info from last 38 year ( as they r in canada for supervisa from last 3 years)

Hello
My mothers medical done and the physician found nodules in her thyroid, and did scanning and biopsy. The report shows she has multinodular goitre. Will this cause to reject the medical? or I am wondering anyone has similar experience?

Some people saying the VO will recommend to do surgery. if so, when they will ask the client to do that? If anyone has any info please share.

Thanks

Unless there is a hint of malignancy in the biopsy report, it shouldn't be a case of rejection. Not all lumps/tumors/nodules are malignant. But you're right assuming that RMO (Regional Medical Office), close to your LVO, may ask to seek advise from a specialist and perhaps remove the nodules by surgery. The PP (Panel Physician) submits his IME report and findings to RMO. The RMO decides medical admissibility of the client and informs the VO (LVO). If the RMO needs additional info/test, they will contact the client via the PP for furtherance. So, it can take several weeks (even months).

My mom suffers from hypothyroidism and takes daily medication to control it. She has a past history of tumors for which she had to undergo surgery twice (the first one wasn't done properly resulting the second). For each surgery, she did biopsy twice and no malignancy was found. All these happened some years back. While the PP was conducting the IME on her, he went through all her past reports. She wasn't tested further re: this.

For a better understanding, you may follow up with the DMP handbook: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/publications/dmp-handbook/index.asp

Has anyone's passport originally sent to CPC-Ottawa, are redirected to St. John's, NL by CPC for Visa printing?

Hello,

Please advise on any updates for medical or PCC request from London Visa office?
I received SA for my parents on July 7th and after that nothing.
It also went to In-process in the middle and changed to Application Received later and still at Application Received.
Recently I saw a message on ECAS mentioning that they have sent a correspondence on July 15th and if we have not submitted it we should do it ASAP. Also, it mentioned to wait till we receive the correspondence as it will outline the details as to what needs to be provided.
I contacted CIC call center right away and they asked me to contact London Visa office. They sent me a link to fill a webform in order to send a message to London visa office and just make things any faster the message stayed in Canada for 1 week lol.
After a week I received an email which said that the message has been sent to London visa office. After that its been almost 8 days and we are still awaiting to find out what was that they asked to submit on July 15th.

Anyways any London visa office people who received their SA around or on July 7th got a PCC or Medical or any other requests? please advise.

Thank you

2016 PGP Applicant here, and still have not received SA..."patiently" waiting.
But while I wait, I have a question for those in the know does the application number / case number mean anything in terms of whose applications are getting processed?
ie. those with application number starting at ### got their SA back in May ??

Unless you are Quebec resident. In this case you have to meet requirements only for 2016

It's hard to tell because no one will reveal their Application number thus we can't check.

alright, thanks man but will they accept w-2 forms (US equivalent of Canadian T4) and I have been working in the US for the last 6 years and have more than adequate bank balance in USD.

will they consider it or the 3-yr rule is the bottom line ?

Unfortunately 3-yr rule is the bottom line...sorry...but thats the bitter truth...

I received my SA in mid July and there's no updates or progress after that. The status for my parents in CIC account is still " application Received" . Seeing so many ppl in this forum got medical request or approved. I am feeling so confused. Whats going on this my case? I called cic, and a lady told me just wait... wait... she didnt even try to access to file to check it out.

Does anyone have the same situation as mine?

btw, I was in Puralator 9:43 batch.

Should have paid/filed Canadian Taxes while working in the US.
