1) Some LVO's will ask for updated IMM5669 in order to start background checks as applicants may get involved in different org, change work/home addresses etc. 2016 applicants are getting done within a year whereas it used to take 5 - 7 years in past. So, you can understand many things can change meanwhile. Some LVO's did not get out of the habit...

2) IMM5669 form has been updated (no new info required but the format has changed a bit)

3) In my case, Singapore VO asked for an updated IMM5669 since age 18 (not for last 10 years) along with IME and PCC. You can imagine how much I had to dig for my mom who is almost 60.

Therefore...You shouldn't just reprint if LVO asked for an updated IMM5669.

Interesting... Thanks for the insight.

- SVO asked for IME, PCC (Bangladesh only), RPRF, IMM5669 and notarized Death Cert. (of my father) in the same email on Aug 10.
- All docs delivered to SVO on Aug 26.
- Medica report uploaded by doctor on Sep 6.
- PPR email received on Sep 12.

I'm one of the 2016 PGP applicants who has not received the SA yet.
I have a sister who turns 18 next year so its very important for me to know if they will approve me or not because I have only one more year (2017) to apply.
One of my friends from 2014 just got rejected after waiting for 2.5 years and I'm afraid that this might happen to my case as well.
I decided to withdraw my 2016 application and I'm going to re-apply in 2017.
Does anyone know that if I withdraw my application they will return my application package to me or not?
How about the processing fee? it will be refunded or not?

Hi... Just wanted to know why your friend from 2014 batch was rejected..... n as far as your app is concerned why do you think it will be rejected.

There are still many applications which havent received their SA yet.. keep your fingers crossed.

My friend's application was rejected because her income for 2011 was less than $50 short. She had received AOR but she was rejected 2 weeks ago.
I have no idea of what is wrong with my application, I might have a mistake in filling the forms. I have included some extra documents as financial support of my parents (e.g. house deed, etc) sometimes the CIC officers are too picky and get confused easily

I have the same situation, just receved file # in feb. by mail and nothing more
in my mom's account just "application received jan.04"

And question, do you think is it important how old are parents, possibly they try to do parents who is after 70-75 for example. what do you think?

My parents are less than 70 years old but no SA yet

If your 3 years' income met the requirements, then it should be fine. But I understand your fear re: your sister. Some applicants never received SA, but their files were transferred and went in-process.

Here's what you should do at once before you decide to withdraw your 2016 app:

1) Order GCMS notes. You can do it via ATIP Online Request. It almost takes a month to process.

2) Try to link your app with MyCIC account. There are some tips I mentioned on INFO sheet of the SS. It may not work for you if your app really did not pass the SA stage.

3) Contact IRCC Cell Centre (1-888-242-2100) and try to convince the agent with your dire situation to get more info on your app.

Thanks very much Rossie,
I have already linked my application to my cic account. it says application "open" but eligibility review "not started".

I call CIC almost everyday but they do not listen at all and repeat "we are currently working on 2014" applications.... Only once I spoke with an agent last month who said you eligibility is in process but no decision yet

The last thing I'm going to try as you kindly advised, in to request for GCMS notes. I'm doing it right now

Yes, that's true. I was just replying to YULIA-2016 to tell that age really does not matter.

I just applied for GCMS notes! its just $5
I'm going to wait until I get it and will decide if I'm going to withdraw my application

Hi Tina16,
Nice to hear from you. No news so far. I know they have received the medicals but that's about it.
For a little while NDVO seemed like the stars, now it's all frustratingly quiet..
Fingers crossed.

Same here Tucosword :).
I am still waiting for the medical request for my mom. When did you receive the medical request for your parents?
The document request email from July 20 is the last I heard from NDVO.

It's true, they are so quiet now :(
