Hi Everyone, I'm hoping to be able to sponsor my parents for 2017 intake. My question to those who made the 2016 intake, which courier did you use. Please recommend some, much appreciated!

Thanks and good luck to all!

I think you need to notify IRCC whenever you change your passport or address or email or anything which is related to your original application. Scan copy of your old and new passport and send it thru case specific enquiry form and it will get uploaded to your application. Also attach a letter with it explaining why your are sending passport copies.

Waiting for IRCC to ask you about new passport will only delay your application.

Yes, I am planning to inform that. Doesn't harm in being proactive. Btw, in the case specific enquiry form what option should I be selecting from the dropdown? Also, there is no way to attach the passport copies. I think I will have to mail them to their office.

1. Do I need to fill a form or can I just type the details on a paper and send it along with passport copies?
2. What's the address I need to send to? The application is with CPC-Ottawa. Do I need to send there or CPC-Mississauga (the original office)?

Thanks

If you are sending mail then yes you will have to send it to Ottawa office.

Case specific enquiry form is here

Just fill in all the details and click next and you will have the option of uploading documents and then attach copies there.

Ok Cool. What do I select in the dropdown? "Verification of Status, replacements and amendments of documents" ? Thanks.

I would select Sponsorship and then second drop down PGP outside Canada.

Hi, I also sent my docs to get the CSQ recently. Did they take the application fee yet?

yes they did. they charged it 2 weeks after sending the papers.
so i guess i have to wait then

hopefully LVO is just waiting for that as i saw that cairo office hasn't sent any medical/pcc for another person in 2015 :(

let's hope for the best, we tried applying last year but our application was received the third day so after the 5000 application of 2015 were received so we got our papers sent back to us. this year we used Metro Mississauga and they reached the first 1000 application. the delivery guy was there one day in advance to reserve a spot in the line

Hi Axen0001,

congrats, i also received same and have to send my parents applications to MIDI.
I have a question though on "Letter of Employment" as i dont see in Kit B , document checklist. where do you see this as document to be submitted with Application package and if any instructions for same?
I generally get PDF copy from my HR, so wondering if original is required and any specific format.

thanks

Hi and thanks.

Form A-1520-BA is a check list document.

Form A-0535-A is one which ask for LOE:
Documents to provide depending on your situation
The original of a recent letter from each of your current employers containing
the following information:
• the date employment started and, if applicable, the date employment ended
• employment status (regular, part-time, seasonal, on-call, etc.)
• number of hours worked per week
• your gross annual salary
• your cumulative gross earning for the current calendar year
If you have temporarily stopped work, the letter must also state:
• the reason and start date of your absence
• the actual or anticipated date of your return to work

As you can see they are asking for original but people on forum suggested that printed is fine. The company I am working for emailed me the letter so I am just printing it ... Hopefully it will work.

Good luck
