I'm from Quebec and I received sponsorship approval on May 16th. I haven't yet received Medical Exam or Police Certificates request. My file was transferred to Ottawa.

hello am from quebec inland applicant i was approved for Quebec CSQ on march 21 2016.
medical request on May 5 2016 .
Medical done on May 11 2016.
received AIP by email on May 16 2016.
CIC Medical Received on May 24 2016.
Sponsorship approval approved on May 31.

Did you apply for the CSQ (quebec selection certificate) after receiving the SA ? did you get by mail as a sponsor or it was sent to the sponsored person ? when did you get it and how much time it took from the moment you applied until you heard from them? do you think we wont receive medical request until quebec gov tell LVO that they approved this person and they issues CSQ ?

Hi guys,

Is there a way to upload additional documents? CPC is asking for additional information and the letter says I can either mail or for faster service use a link. I follow the link and can't find an option where I could attach documents.

The challenge is - the originals are overseas and it will take a while to get those here.

It should allow you on the next page. I just submitted additional documents thru case specific enquiry.
Just fill in all the details on the first page and click next and it will ask you if you want to attach documents and click yes.

No we do not need any proof to change address online.

oh okay, so that tells me that medical request is not dependent on the CSQ or undertaking approval and has nothing to do with it !

Yes.. I received a SA via email today for my application #1 (mother in law) but still waiting for application #2 (Mother). I am a January 5 Purolator from AB. My application #1 was forwarded to Ottowa.

Question for those who received Medical/Police check: once on the PR processing stage is the communication still through the sponsor? Or going forward they with reach out to my folks directly?

For those that have moved passed the SA stage and have received Medical/PCC requests, my understanding is that all these applications were transferred to LVO such as Hong kong/New Delhi, etc. Is that correct? Is there anyone with application in Ottawa that have progressed? I dont see any in the spreadsheet.

Secondly, those that see their status as "In Process", are you checking the status with your information (the sponsor)? Are you also signed up as their representative? I am just trying to understand if you will see status updates if on main application if you have no signed up as representative?

I have signed up as a representative for my mom. File has been transferred to Ottawa, recently I submitted my father's death certificate.(via online) on July 06, 2016. PR status is "In Process" since July 08,2016. Medicals/PCC not received yet.

I have a question, after submitting death certificate online do I still need to send a copy of to CPC Mississauga ?

Hey if you get any info on this please let me know too... they request me as well for my dad's death certificate which I submitted online. How did you get SA approval if they asked additional documents bcoz on the email which I got they said it is important for us to get the document requested before we approve you as a sponsor. Please let me know if you find any info.
