How long does it take for CIC to send a confirmation letter/email after they've charged cc or cashed in the cheque?

What i read from in this forum is...last year they sent AOR in 3 months time approx...if i remember correctly.

Special thanks for sharing the info of reassessment of 2014; to help you to recollect, in early dec, I posted a comment saying that my 2014 NOA says 45500 and my requirement for PGP with family (mom+dad+myself) = 47051; you suggested me to submit reassessment and then for 2015 submit a higher income around 5000 CAD; then I can submit in 2017 jan.

With this info I spoke to my accountant; as I am contractor (incorporation); he said you can, no harm but CRA will ask you what was the 2k; show the income proof; however coming back to PGP, I did the reassessment, I got the NOA reassessment original and I have submitted in this jan 2016, my application as per the courier - Sprinting local couriers that it was reached at 8.40am on 4th jan.

So tons of thanks, do open the 'fundmeaccount' as said by others, I gurantee you, like me there are so many of us are here to do the donation...

I take this opportunity to thank all other readers who are doing the volunteer of replying to others query, even with 1 start or 2 star...
my CC is not yet charged, hope to hear from financial institutions soon, as I have created alerts.

That's a long time... I sent by cheque. Unless I keep calling my bank to find out if they've cashed it in yet, I won't find out for another 3 months

I did the same thing with 2012, 2013 & 2014 to qualify as I didn't wanted to wait 3 years so I had already planned to do reassessment in 2014 summers... what I did was showed as business income coming from pizza delivery lol so even if CRA asks how did you earn this cash money I will say I was working as a pizza delivery guy part time but didn't realized I have to show tips and cash income so now I'm showing...

Hope this will work this time and application will be accepted
