for those delivery who used Metro Mississauga did anyone get any info on who signed the received receipt?
The guy wont tell nor would give the receipt unless there were a dispute on the file being delivered.

Did you use Metro Mississauga as well? No, I didn't receive a receipt or confirmation of waybill. I can try to ask him.

Me and my friend used VW Express and our waybills only have the CPC stamps but no manual signatures. Is this normal?

Anyone who used Calgary Purolator here?

I did, my package arrived this morning at 8:52 am. Very dissappointed because I sent the package express on December 30th.

I am crossing my finger to enter in the 5000 application this year.

Good luck for you too.

Johanna

So you are saying poor people should not be allowed to sponsor their parents?

When it comes to my mother living alone far away from me and her grandchildren, I don't want to play any lottery games. All I want is some sort of certainty, so I could plan accordingly.

On the other hand, if you are paying 43% from your income, you should expect something in return. I don't say poors should not be allowed... but greater contribution should result in a greater appreciation :)

So I just got call from Purolator explaining what happened.. so the connection flight from Edmonton to Calgary and then to Winnipeg got missed so all of Calgary and Edmonton shipments from Purolator didn't reached Mississauga on 4th but today 5th Jan at 8:52am.

I don't know if even Winnipeg guys got delayed as well or not but yeah Calgary and Edmonton for sure. He is refunding my money back and sending cheque to my place.

Hi everyone,

I have been closely following this thread and a few other related ones for the last few months. You guys are fantastic and very supportive, really helps in keeping the spirit up.

I had quite a ride trying to deliver my application package. Even until Jan 3, my chances were close to 0%. It seems I got a lucky break at the end and mine was delivered around 10:12AM on Jan 4.

For those of you that used Purolator, and Purolator suggested that the delivery guy was waiting in line since morning; I can confirm that there was no line at all around 10:12AM. When my guy arrived at CPC-M, there were no queues whatsoever. Try and see if you can find out when VWExpress, Metro Mississauga Courier, Happy Road etc left CPC-M. That'll give a better idea if any of the big companies were actually waiting in line.

Good luck to everyone and I sincerely hope that the Edmonton Purolator folks also make the cut.

I contacted Purolator and they said they delivered 700 applications today. Here's the updated table. Numbers in bold based on comments in this thread. Numbers in italic are a guesstimate based on the 2016 PGP tracking spreadsheet. Whether the cap has been reached already largely depends on the UPS and FedEx numbers, as well as how they treat CanadaPost deliveries to their PO box (different address).

8:21Happy Road Express700
8:21?The Messengers Express150
8:21?VW Express150
8:30BNS50
8:31UPS1000
8:40??50
8:45Metro Mississauga50
8:45GTA Express50
9:00Messengers Int'l50
9:19FedEx1000
9:20Current Express50
9:43Purolator700
Jan 4th Others (after 9:43)50
TOTAL JAN 4TH4050

Metro Mississauga was 150+ for sure. The owner confirmed personally.

So Metro Mississauga went after UPS? did that owner confirm it

Provided your application is deemed "complete", this is my assumption based on previous year's experience. The following is the probability of getting into 5,000 based on when your application has been received by CPC-M.

4-Jan-2016:
08 am - 10 am: 100%
10 am - 12 pm: 90%
12 pm - 04 pm: 70%
5-Jan-2016:
08 am - 10 am: 50%
10 am - 12 pm: 20%
12 pm - 04 pm: <5%

later on if they process 5000k applications a year for SA, the 1st one and the 5000th (last) one could be 12 months apart from each other. so people can make it last minute but unless you belong to the first batch it will still take some time.

Mine was UPS too....not sure what is the true story from ups. It says 7:36 delivery time. Who signed urs...

Mine says Adusei. I was actually looking at the tracker until 10am and only got updated at 10am. So I am wondering if the receiver in the centre actually started to receive packages at 8am - not before 8am.
