Tips for 2016 (Future) PGP Applicants

Just received email from VW Express that my package got delivered at 8:10 am ;D (yes, seems like they beat so far everyone).
Will wait for scanned waybill confirmation (they will send sometime today) before updating spreadsheet.

I called Gary. He admits Happy road was before them, but also said they delivered at 8:10am, which is a bit conflict. He said VW was the fourth in line, and also said something about 700 applications before them. I am not sure what information was correct. I will just wait to see the way bills. But he believes that packages delivered by them should be within the 5000 cap. But if I didn't miss hear the 700 thing,Purolators are dangerous now.

What if the first 2 courier there holds 5000 application.. Then they will not accept the other application. Am I right?

They will accept the applications - but will then return them without opening them or processing them.

And how are they going to choose 5000 applications then?? Imagine they got 10000 applications all dated the same day and all apps are without time stamp.

Employees at the Case Processing Center must be operating like a highly sophisticated assembly line. They must be putting a FCFS sticker number on every single packet and placing them in a highly well built shelving system.

This is what the purolator customer service said to me at 11.30AM ( this was for 9 AM delivery).. It's not looking good guys

"We have been advised by management recently that the driver is waiting in the line up to deliver these packages. The driver has over 700 of these packages to deliver this morning. "

holy ccccccc... if puralator has 700 then what about others???? this is really not looking good even tough we tried so hard to get there on time... seriously cic needs to change the process of doing this.

This explain why we are still waiting for update in their website.. Imagine arriving in CIC office before 9AM. It will take hours to stamp all the 700 plus applications.. Hope we are still okay guys..

My dear friends, if there is something wrong with the process, it is the cap. I was under the assumption that the new govt has doubled up the quota. I was miserably wrong.

P.S: Very disappointed with the way Liberals announced to not increase the cap, on the day they started accepting applications. They all are same.

My dear friends, if there is something wrong with the process, it is the cap. I was under the assumption that the new govt has doubled up the quota. I was miserably wrong.

If I knew this was coming. I'd vote for Conservatives.

I used "Purolator Vancouver". My last update is "7:48 a.m. Mississauga (east/est), ON On vehicle for delivery". Nothing more.

Anyone else with Purolator?

This is what ours says too. Makes me nervous.

I actually did not like their platform at all. Only voted for them because of this promise that they failed to deliver.

This doesn't sound right...Can't be 700 before 8:10am...They open at 8:00am.
