Same as you.. but the problem on my side is that my courier mess up and our application will be delivered tomorrow. :( :( :( :( :( :(

I am sorry to hear that. If it's any consolation, mine was messed up last year under similar circumstances.

I think the order was more like this:

8:21Happy Road Express1000
8:21?The Messengers Express250
8:21?VW Express250
8:30BNS50?
8:31UPS1000?
8:40??50?
8:45Metro Mississauga50?
8:45GTA Express50?
9:00Messengers Int'l50?
9:19FedEx1000?
9:20Current Express50?
9:43Purolator1000?

How does UPS become 5th in your list? Gives me a lot of hope though :)

Below is what my courier guy said: so it unlikely they got them delivered before 8am...maybe the time was when they left the UPS office? not sure

"No one would have got in before us. We would have killed him. Literally I think after 24 hours any one would get past us. I saw UPS getting into the elevator when I was leaving at 9 am. Plus no applications are accepted prior to 8 anthem would get rejected by rules automatically "

Thanks much...atleast I am relieved it wont be rejected because it went before 8 am.

Ohh I used UPS too and so did a friend of mine from the same city as me.. Calgary.. For both of us it show that the package was on UPS truck out for delivery at 7:15 AM. And then mine says that it was delivered at 7:36 AM. And his says that it was delivered at 6:31 AM (even before the time it was on truck). So I think UPS delivery times are quite incorrect.

I got the email from UPS at 9.57 MST (Calgary time) that mine got delivered at 7:36 AM. So I am assuming it got delivered before 11:57 EST atleast. Not sure of the accurate time.

Same for me... You in Calgary? I am. I think this 9:57 AM was just a bulk email.. the applications would have been received earlier.. they just updated it all at once.

This looks roughly correct based on the spreadsheet.

I am done with this process. It doesn't make sense how some applications using local couriers can get through while others submitting from other cities get stuck or have to rely on couriers to make it on time in a time window which each year will become more and more tight. We should all write to our MPs to make this system fair and equal for those who lived outside GTA. I will suggest a window of a full month to apply and then a lottery system to select the valid applications.

The 5000 Cap should be equally divided per province or per population per province. First come per serve basis.
