Tips for 2016 (Future) PGP Applicants

I submitted my parents PCC, IME and RPRF between December 2016 and Jan 23, 2017 to the London Visa Office. I also advised the LVO in January 2017 that my parents are here on visit visa for more than 3 months. I have not received any word from them since my correspondence in Jan 2017. I have submitted case specific inquiry through webform, and also email them in London. I wanted them to transfer the case from London to Ottawa for processing before my parents return. What should i do, as the time for my parents return is fast approaching. Their medicals have been received since Jan 2017. i also read on cic website that if you have submitted your inquiry, do not resend it, as it may result in delays in processing. There is no way to contact London office via phone either. Any thoughts?

Hello -need some advice - I received my SA yesterday - however they sent the file to Kingston Jamaica when my fathers address is Kingston Ontario as he is here with me and is the principal applicant (he's a US resident). My mother is who is in Jamaica - should I call and tell them or did they send it there because my mother is in Jamaica ?

What's your father's nationality/citizenship?

Just because his address is Canadian doesn't mean the file will be kept in Ottawa.

On few instances, CPC-M asked for latest NOA from sponsor. But I guess that's determined how short you were for 2012. However harsh it may sound, CPC-M has legitimately refused your sponsorship application based on the income criteria.

BTW, were your family size smaller in 2012? For example, no kids or spouse. If that's the case, you could write an explanation with latest NOA to re-consider.

Yes, I was hoping the same for CPC-M to ask for latest NOA from me, but I guess they thought not to.

Yes my family size was less in 2012 and my son was born in 2014.
I had already written a letter when I submitted the application. Now I have contacted them through the webform (link) they sent in the email and have attached my 2015 NOA and ask them to reconsider.

Lets see if the Visa officer would reconsider.

I got pcc/medical request in 27th sep
medical submitted Oct 9th
police clearance extension requested twice finally submitted on December 20th
Background information form wasn't filled correctly, received document request on Jan 25th, submitted on Jan 27th

GCKEy shows as medical passes
review in process
additional documents requested
no interview is needed at this time

Mar 3, still no response

Please kindly update the 2016 sheet for me. I will keep you all posted as things move forward.

Does MyCiC or ecas show PCC received for you? Or did you get an email acknowledging that they have received PCCs.

For me it didn't in either ecas or mycic. So don't worry if it doesn't show.

In my case, I wrote to local visa office and got it confirmed. But my mother in law personally handed over it to them, but we did not recieve any confirmation. But visa office emailed back saying they recieved it.

So i know It could be a long while from here but do you have any recommendations on what the next steps are. I have had no luck linking my paper application so I don't know where I can go for a status update. I know I have read that I can call my MP for updates which I will try and do on Monday potentially.

Also we have already submitted the schedule A, all travel logs etc also back in July

I am in the same boat like you.
Very similar timeline. New delhi office.
If there was any issue with medicals CIC / medical centre would have contacted you back.
Another way to see if the medicals are passed is through myCIC. If you have myCIC it will shoe you medical passed.

It does for some.
MyCIC should help you see that request or call IRCC to confirm if they requested anything.

You can inquire through your MP office.When I inquired through MP ,we got following answer : " you have complied with all the CIC requests so far and if anything extra is needed CIC will contact applicant."
If the medicals are reflecting on myCIC , notes wont give you much.
I see many ppl like us on the spreadsheet.
