Tips for 2016 (Future) PGP Applicants

Hi,

Will there be a problem with our application if we, instead of the physician (nephrologist) sending my father's medical results? He was asked fo an additional test after the initial medical request.

The doctor just gave him a letter and advised him to email it to the embassy.


Anyone have experienced this?

We got asked for the same (NDVO). How long did it take Singapore to process the new form/information?

- SVO asked for Medical, PCC, RPRF, IMM0008 & Dealth Cert. on Aug 10.
- All docs except medical reports delivered to SVO on Aug 26.
- Background check on MyCIC went "in-progress" on Sep 1
- Since my mom had to do few additional tests, her medical report was uploaded by the physician on Sep 6 (MyCIC showed "medical passed" on Sep 8 and E-Cas said "medical received" on Sep 12).
- We received PPR on Sep 12 as well.

You probably can't compare SVO with NDVO currently as SVO is not making any sort of delay as long as they get what they want.

Question about "messages" in My CIC account:

3 days (September, 27) ago we received a request for PCC only (no medicals, just PCC) and today (September, 30) I linked the application to my cic account.

The status for medicals shows "Review in progress" but there are NO messages - neither for PCC nor for medicals.

Is it normal??

Anybody? Rossei? It looks really strange to me :-[

It's not totally abnormal.

As soon as CIC issue medical request, MyCIC medical can go "Review in progress". But you may get it after some days. I would suggest you to wait few more days. If nothing comes to your mail/email/MyCIC; then you can contact CIC.

oh okay, so that tells me that medical request is not dependent on the CSQ or undertaking approval and has nothing to do with it !

Same for me!
I was approved for sponsorship in June 2016.
Applied for CSQ on Sept 1st.
Received medical exam request on Sept 16th.
Checked CIC web site for status of my application and it says that started to process my file on Aug 18th.
My deadline to send them CSQ is Nov 1st. I hope to get it by then.

Yulia, you choose "permanent residence", then "parents/grandparents", right? And F000... where "000" are zeroes, not letters "O", right?

For the information of Forum members: For Dadaum2-----------I submited passport of my mother to VFS,Ahmedabad on sept30,2015. SMs from VFS mentions that her passport is sent to Bangalore and EMail from VFS says that it is sent to NewDelhi.Whichone is correct? Client Aplication status shows DECISION made and My CIC says Review in Progress and Final Decision not started. Both the matters are confusing.

For my case ie Dadaum 1 from june30 it shows In Process but when I click it it shows nothing that since which date the processing is started.Plese guide if someone knows pros and cons of this situation.

Tricky question about My CIC account :

will it show messages/actions that happened BEFORE the date of linking your application? Like if you linked your application in September and a request was sent in August? Will you see it in your CIC account?

My parents are in 2016 5000-1000 batch and their application transferred to Ankara, Turkey LVO. They were asked to do medicals and they did it in August however after 6 weeks their MyCIC still shows Review in Progress for medicals.

Review of submitted documents: BLANK
A background check is needed: In Progress
Final decision: Not Started

Is there anything to worry about? I want to make sure LVO have received the results. What should be done?

First how do you know you were in 5000-10000 batch. Did CIC send you any communication? or are you just concluding it by the time your application was delivered by courier

Based on the timing and comparison with other people as per the spreadsheet. I don't understand how that relates to my question though.
