congratulations MissFrowz, this is great news !MissFrowz said:For those of you worried about parents with high blood pressure or diabetes, my parents just passed their medical exam. My dad has type 2 diabetes and hypertension. He had to do additional tests for his medical exam including an ECG, echocardiogram, fundoscopy, and additional diabetes testing. The specialist report stated that there is less than 1% chance of him needing dialysis or kidney transplant in the next five years, so he is well below the excessive demand threshold. The additional tests were $700 on top of the regular medical exam fee. I just logged onto their MyCIC account and it says medical exam passed.
Hi Rossei,Rossei said:I perhaps used my mom's last name and PGP File No (F000000000) that came with the first AOR.
Most people had trouble to link with the right number of family size. Use the number of your family size when you submitted the original application. For example, it was 3 for me (I, my wife and my mom) in early 2015. Although later the year I informed CPC-M that our family size increased to 4, myCIC for my mom still takes 3.
Our LVO is Pretoria. They started processing the app on July 20.mofan said:Where is you LVO? When did they start your mom's case? (When is IP?)
My mum's BP was just on the threshold 150/90 so she just passed. My dad's BP was normal due to the BP medication he takes, but because he's had hypertension for 10 years now, he still had to do the additional tests to make sure there was no organ damage.reachmenow said:congratulations MissFrowz, this is great news !
my mom also turns out to have hypertension, no diabetes though.
she did those test as well and her BP came out to be 180/80, but all other reports are normal ..
so lets see what will happen in her case.. keeping fingers crossed.
what was your parents BP level ?
Oh, PR Application status changed to in-process. Local office - Ottawa. I guess next step is medical exams request? Will they be sending it to me or to my parents ? (my parents dont live in canada and I am their official representative)OrangeCup said:Got an email about 2 months ago that I am approved as a sponsor and that parent's file has been forwarded to LVO. E-cas status says Application Received. Nothing yet...
