Navven, I think that's what many people who have the files transferred to Delhi have been saying on the forum.

Didnt they ask you for PCC from India and Canada?

And regarding the point "The documents listed in the attached Document Checklist for Family Class – Parents & Grandparents" are you supposed to send one more package of all documents (docs, option c, payment receipt etc) which we sent initially or do they have an attachment with the list

Hello,

can someone guide me please on my query raised yesterday?
Hi digandi,

I am gone through the process already and can provide the information for your query.

1. PCC from USA or FBI clearance:
a. https://www.fbi.gov/about-us/cjis/identity-history-summary-checks - Read the instructions and apply asap. Processing time is high subject
to approval.
OR
b. https://www.fbi.gov/about-us/cjis/identity-history-summary-checks/fbi-approved-channelers - Best options for you as parent are from USA.
Google 'FBI Channelers your - US location (state)'. This will usually give you certain approved channelers. Call them and get it done. I got it
from a local channeler in NJ from a UPS store. Results came back in 4 hrs even though they it takes 72 hours (online).

2. PCC from India (USA - Indian Consulate): Reference to Indian Consulate NYC
a. http://www.indiacgny.org/pages.php?id=76 - Point 8 for fees.
b. http://www.indiacgny.org/pages.php?id=77 - How to apply. Very secured and fast process of approx. 2-3 weeks.
Note: If you can go personally then length of processing is short.

I hope this information help you in getting the PCC's. Shoot me a question or PM me to share ph no if need to talk.
Good Luck!

Strange!!!...NDVO asked for so many additional docs...that too some of them as "Original"??? How do we get it back if we send Original?

Agreed. I am hoping after they review the documents and are satisfied, they will send all the originals back.

I thought I could forget about this forum for a few years, but things are moving quickly apparently. My 2016 application is now ahead of my 2013 one. Amazing...

I just got a note that I am approved as a sponsor and that the case is moved to CPC-Ottawa. Is this the last step where they do the background check and that sometime they send to the country of origin? In other words, once Ottawa is done with it, do they still need to send back to the country of origin?

I've just received an email with SA. I am from the Purolator 9:43 batch :)

The file is forwarded to Ottawa instead of Ukraine, though I don't see any logic here. I applied for my mom + her husband (my dad passed away), so I really thought this case is more complex and should go to the local visa office.
However, I am happy with Ottawa :)
Good luck everyone!!

Why some cases are forwarded to Ottawa some to other visa office? What's the difference? I received SA letter on July 4, saying that the file has been transferred to Hong Kong visa office. I don't know exactly why.

No one know the exact logic of why and how of how LVO is selected...but if you read previous blogs...you would come to know what people from this group mostly suspect...also now all offices are connected...hence it can go anywhere...

Hi Guys,

A quick question if you can help.

I was asked to submit OPTION C print outs that i did submit online on the CIC site and i called to check if that have been received and they said yes it have been loaded. The agent was not willing to give any other info.

So if loading online OPTION c is enough or i have to proceed with postal as well.

Thanks
