Tips for 2016 (Future) PGP Applicants

CIC asked you to do so... is it in stage BEFORE the sponsorship approval or after SA? in other word, LVO asked you or PGP-M ?

Before the Sponsorship Approval

The Case Specific Enquiry form on CIC website says
"You may use this form if: You have submitted an application.
Your application has exceeded normal processing times. We will not respond if your application is within normal processing times".
The email sent by CIC yesterday states that:

As the 2016 applications are within the normal processing time, I am confused if I can send it by email.
Do you think it is okay to send the scanned copy first and the originals by post later.

IMO, I would choose : Sponsorship - .... .... Outside Canada,

I called CIC this morning. I was approved as sponsor on June 16 and the file was transferred to the Pretoria LVO. I haven't received anything from CIC but the agent said I should receive the approval letter in the mail by July 16 otherwise I should call back then.

Hi MissFrowz ..... I'm in the same situation as yours. Can you please tell which number did you call to reach CIC?

Also if i have used a paid representative, so all correspondence should be going to that representative right? Even after SA? He hasn't received anything either by mail or via email yet except for the initial AOR back in March 2015.

Hi everyone, I checked my ecas today and it says In - process on my mom's PR application status, but I never got any Email or letter from them about AOR or SA. Kind a stranged.

Hi Simp,

I too received an email from CIC requesting ORIGINAL Option C's earlier this month. Thought I'd share what I did and the thought process behind it...

Figured the time it would take to scan to the right size (the max allowed upload size of all files is 3.5MB and each file can be a max of 2MB) and then upload the documents vs. sending it by Canada Post (other couriers do not deliver to PO Boxes, as they don't have access to drop things off in them), it was easier for me to just send them by Canada Post's Express post that takes 2 biz days for delivery. I mailed out my documents last week and received the Sponsorship Approval this morning. Hope this helps. All the best!

How many days did it take in total to get the approval, after it reached CIC

Hi everyone on this forum. Until yesterday i.e.28 June 2016, I have no information about my application even after 2-3 attempts to CIC on phone None of the agent was willing to say anything except we are working on Nov 2011. But yesterday we again phoned at CIC and luckily we connected with an Officer who give us a reply that there was a mail on record dated 22nd of June 2016 we said we never received and asked him to say about the mail message but he told us I am putting a note to send another mail and I am not able to see the message. Today at about 10-30 I got a letter from CIC stating sponsorship approval and file transferred to NDVO for further processing. I request my entire forum members those not heard about their application must call CIC politely, to know about the fate of your application.

So another question regarding OPTION C

i recently uploaded the updated OPTION C which i got in April but there is a difference (basically increased) in reported income so will it matter what was written in original forms ? My 2014 tax was re-assesed and reported income was increased means more taxes

Medical is already done at Canada on 12 April 2016 while filling the Super Visa, can I have to rush to New Delhi as my sponsorship approval received by mail not by email so that I may not miss any correspondence from New Delhi Visa Office OR to stay here at Canada for further processing ,I am able to get the PCC from New Delhi On-line here. Please advice. Thanks in advance.

I received the SA today by email. Application was forwarded to LVO (Manila). Problem is that my mom has been here in Canada for 3yrs now. Her mailing address in the application was our address here in Canada but they still forwarded her application to Manila. The address in her ECAS is our Canada address too. Anyone in the same situation?
I contacted call center today & advised me to contact Manila office thru the webform to transfer her application to Ottawa. Hoping this will not cause delay in her application.

Hi,
I received my sponsorship approval via regular mail today, file transferred to New Delhi VO. I was in the first 5k batch with VWExpress. My ecas status had changed yesterday- Sponsorship status still shows "Application Received" but Parents application shows "in Process" now.
I'll update the spreadsheet shortly!
