My application was suppose to be for Jan 4th 9am Delivery from Edmonton but bcoz of missed connection from Purolator they delivered it on 5th Jan, so I called them and opened inquiry with case officer. So he called me back and apologized about the delay and said he will send me the refund cheque for whatever I paid.harnit2010 said:Hi,

Less or no OT now at CPC-M compared to January. 8)dchoudh said:Just wondering why IRCC still haven't started charging CC for 5-10K appls, though increase in cap news was officially announced last Friday...any guesses?
I wonder if they will ever process these 5k-10k apps. IRCC said they would hold them, but that was not a guarantee that they would be able to accept them this year. At least that is what I understood.dchoudh said:Just wondering why IRCC still haven't started charging CC for 5-10K appls, though increase in cap news was officially announced last Friday...any guesses?
The cap has been raised last friday from 5000 to 10000. Now the applications pending processing from 5000 to 10000 would be processed soon.kclau said:I wonder if they will ever process these 5k-10k apps. On their website they say "More information on this increase will be forthcoming, including information on when we will be returning applications not added to the inventory."
My cc wasn't charged yet. I lost hope for this year...

May I know which phone# I could use to contact them? Thanks.MissFrowz said:No. UCI is 8 digits and no letters. Just call CIC to request your UCI. Much easier than guessing.

Yes...same here...but CIC did not yet start charging 5-10K apps yet.Jian_Letran said:Hello everybody! I would like to hear good news from People who had their credit cards charged for the 5k-10k keep our hopes up.

Anyone whose application received jan 4th have it returned to them? Coz mine was was received by r. Mahmood jan 4th at 10:47 am but no update yet, I'm losing hope. Thanks.Pamma97 said:Whoever got screwed by Purolator Edmonton or Calgary or Winnipeg.. I got my refund cheque back yesterday as they promised.
I guess you're Jan 4 10:47 AM batch of Canada Post. None reported payment being charged or application returned from 10:47 batch. It's most likely that 10:47 delivery time-stamp by CanadaPost is not even close to the actual delivery time (saying it from past experience).Ma. said:Anyone whose application received jan 4th have it returned to them? Rossei said:- In order to deliver your application package on the very first day (preferably by noon) CIC re-opens PGP; you have to choose your courier wisely. Since PGP applications are to be sent to CPC-Mississauga, applicants living in GTA have advantage over the rest of the people. Many large courier services (like UPS, Purolator) couldn't deliver on time as promised in 2015. CanadaPost posted wrong time stamp of delivery. The local express services available in GTA proved to be the most efficient in 2015.
