Nothing to discuss really for the next two years or so. We just have to sit tight. Maybe we'll hear news of the cap being increased to 10k or plans to decrease processing times, but it seems the government is busy with refugees for the moment. Sigh...IRL-CAN said:Look like most participants here have ran out of steam Anything new to discuss? What about processing timeline for those of you who are now in the inventory queue?
Dependent names are shown on your UCI not your mom.Roya-FSW said:my ECAS says that:" We received your application for permanent residence on January 4, 2016." it doesn't show any dependent name. Is it the same for everyone?
Your thoughts are appreciated
My UCI is not activated though...eurmione said:Dependent names are shown on your UCI not your mom.
we think 5000 is reached and wait another 5000.Mrs Hassan said:Hi..our application reached at 9.43 by purolator. There's been no charge and no ones been reporting any more what does it mean? Cap reached?
Yeah, there are lots of people eagerly waiting for increase in the cap. Unfortunately, i am loosing hope. There is no nothing news in media or any where around the promise minister made.. Looks like that promise would get buried and will be alive in 2017YULIA-2016 said:we think 5000 is reached and wait another 5000.

Well. I believe CIC is dong its best to increase the CAP, but it seems, 5000 is not decided by CIC, but by Canadian government. CIC is doing its best to keep 5001-10000, once CIC received the formal notice to increase the CAP, they will started charging the 5001-10000. In another word, if you have not received any returning application within a month, most likely, you are in the 10000 CAP and will be process very quick thereafter. For me, the only difference is the first 5000 were charged and issued AOR, but the other 5000 are also in the system, if CIC thinks you have a complete application. I strongly believe, the LP will keep their promise, as they did for the refugee.canam3 said:Yeah, there are lots of people eagerly waiting for increase in the cap. Unfortunately, i am loosing hope.
