Tips for 2016 (Future) PGP Applicants

Regarding the second AOR e-mail: my understanding is that receiving the second e-mail would mean that CIC started processing the application and the earliest when 2016 applicant should expect it (according to 2014 PGP thread) is the beginning of 2018 year. Am I right?
And for those who are still waiting for their credit cards to be charged - I think that tomorrow or on Wednesday CIC will start processing the next batch of application. It looks like this year they decided to process applications in batches and the 5K cap is still not reached.

Wow, that's a long wait...

I asked about the second email because I am seeing posts here that they were able to access their application online. When I tried, I was not successful. But I am grateful that there's movement on the application.

I received the email also today (UPS 7:36am Adsei , cc charged on jan 21st ) it looks like everybody got it today ! ( I haven't checked the ss thou) .
I wonder what do they mean by " when your application is fully entered in to the cic case processing system " ?

Yes, I was wondering about it too. I think we should send a courier to 2015 PGP thread to ask them if their AOR letters contained the same phrase )).

UPD: Just checked 2015 PGP thread - they were asking the same question one year ago )).

You have to meet the minimum LICO for 2013, 2014 and 2015 for a family of 7 regardless of the fact that you only had one child in 2013. So, unfortunately it seems like you will only be able to sponsor them in 2018.

Hmmm , I'm not too sure if this and the statement from yulia2016 are completely correct ..

That's the understanding I got from the application guide and the financial evaluation form. Did you interpret it differently?

What is hapeening with the rest of the applications? When are they going to increase the cap to 10K? I am getting quite worried: :-\

For those who sent via Purolator and is in 9:43 am batch. Why are you saying the timestamp is not accurate? Have anyone requested Purolator to provide a copy of signature? I am not sure if this is an option, but based on the price of the service it should be. I am going to find my tracking number tonight and investigate with Purolator. I recall my tracking info stated that they have delivered by 8:59 am but "an appointment was required".

If they are lying and we have trusted them with delivery of this time critical package, we need to make it very uncomfortable for them and let others know this is not a reliable service.

If the timestamp is true however, these applications have to be processed based on the time they have arrived. I understand the desire of CIC to open a smaller bag or box received a bit later, but they have to play by the rules. I am not even brining up that they have accepted application before 8 am even though they have claimed they won't. I am just happy for the folks who managed to get in.

So, does anyone know for sure the Purolator timestamp is a lie?
