Hi Guys,
Whats the difference between the 2?
Temporary residence
1) Work permit (including extensions) – per person - $155.00
2) Open work permit holder - $100.00
Do you need to pay both? if so, do they need to be paid at the same time?
Also, Other than the fees on the link below, Any other fee's that one needs to pay if its the first time applying?
(No Canadian Experience and first time in Home Child Care)

Thanks
You need to pay the 2.
The work permits gives you the right to work in Canada.
Open work permits gives you the right to work for any employer within the home child care industry, you won't be restricted to only one employer.
If you don't pay for the 2, they will return your application
Assuming you are a family of 3 (couple with a school age child), your fees will look like this:
1. Work permit for couple
2. open work permit for couple
3. biometrics fees for couple
4. permanent residence fees for couple
5. right of permanent residence fees for couple
6. Right of permanent residence for child (children only pay right of permanent residence fees, they don't pay permanent residence fees)
7. Study permit for child
