Timelines for citizenship applications

Hello everyone, new guy here. Sorry if this is a repeat question, but I have got to ask.

I mailed my citizenship application to Sydney, NS, in Feb 2013 from Toronto. It is now a month since they received the application. I did FedEx it to them, so I know it has been received.

Can you tell me when we get the official confirmation from them? How long does it take to get this first notice? Right now I am hearing 3 months. Is that right or is it longer?

How does one add one's timeline to the spreadsheet?

I applied from Saskatoon. My timeline:

Applied: August 2011
In process: November 2012
RQ received: March 2013

Hey Darius,

I also sent mine Feb 14 and they received and signed for it 2 days later. As of today (March 22) I have not heard a thing back. When you get something please let me know and I will do the same. This goes for anyone else that applied the past few months. mine was sent from Montreal so they will more than likely trash mine.lol ....Feel free to email me with any news. I dont remember this site sometimes.
