2011/07/05 : MISSISSAUGA Item processed at postal facility
2011/07/04: Item processed at postal facility
2011/07/04 :Item accepted at the Post Office

APPLICATION SENT BACK TO TORONTO:
2011/08/26 :Item accepted in Fort Erie
2011/08/29 : Item processed at local delivery facility
2011/08/29 : item out for delivery ( oshawa)
2011/08/29 : Item sucessfully delivered ( oshawa) at 1pm

It took 57 days including the week end & holiday

I sent my on July 26. BUFFALO Received on July 28.
On the 4th week, I found my money has been cashed.

But I can't believe it takes 57 day.
Last year it only took 2 weeks for me to get the single Re-entry visa.

sagi girl, Could you pls have a look your receipt, When has ur money order been cashed?

Hi Joycelam. Sorry for the delayed response. I checked my reciept and the money order been cashed out last july 20,2011. Mailed back my passport on August 26,2011.

As what most people in this forum said i guess sending TRV application to Fort Errie,Ontario is a lot more faster and safer than sending directly to Buffalo Office.

As to your post in other thread, you'll be fine submitting your TRV using your current WP. You still have a valid work permit when you return to Canada. When you recieve your renewed work permit just bring it when you go on vacation and present it to the IO, if they ask, when you return.

1)imm5257(01-2011)e- application for temporary resident visa made outside of canada..--what it means by -made outside of canada, do i need this form even im already here in canada? --and it said if this application form is completed electronically,place the barcode page.


2)imm5645 (09-2010)e family information- do i need this too even i am single? or i will just submit this form and put n/a.?

3)imm 5484 documents checklist

4)imm5257-schedule 1 application for temporary resident visa made outside canada..-do i need this too?

5)imm5409-statutory declaration of common law

Hi Jheng999,

Application kit includes all forms you have enumerated. Read Instruction Guide IMM 5256 to help you in filling up the forms.

IMM 5257 – You must complete this on your computer. Once you’re done, you must click “VALIDATE” to generate the Barcode page which must be included.

IMM 5645 – Yes. You fill this up and include your parents and siblings even if they are not coming with you.

IMM 5484 – Must be included in your application. Click only what is appropriate to you.

IMM 5257 Schedule 1 – If you answer yes to IMM 5257 Background Check Nos. 3-7, you need to include this form.

IMM 5409 – Not applicable to you as you are single.

Again, try to read IMM 5256 to guide you in completing the forms.
