Timeline for PR After Medical - Within Canada

Applied in FSW category PR application in May 2011. Received request for medical 3 days ago on Dec 27th 2012. Completed my Medical test in Ontario Canada on Dec 28th. My application is under process in Ottawa CPP-O.

Can anyone tell me how long will it take to get the PR approval documents from now? Any recent PR applicants please share your timelines?

From what I've seen, it should be 2-3 month after your medicals that your e-CAS will update to "medicals have been received" (unless there are issues) and then PPR about a month later, assuming everything else is in order.

Do you know when they will request the Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF)? I did not get any request for RPRF with my medical request as others mentioned in the forum. Is this normal? I'm in Canada and my PR is being processed in CPP-O. My e-CAS is showing medical result received.

It's a bit unusual. You should be able to pay it now and send CPP-O the receipt.

I've done my medical in the beginning of Jan 2013. eCAS is showing Medical received in the mid of March. I haven't got RPRF request along with my medical in Jan. How do I pay for RPRF or do I need to wait for CIC to contact me for paying RPRF? Do let me know. No PPR request as well.

Hi All,

Just wondering if any one of u had any luck in your application being further processed after medicals sent. I am also in the same boat where I sent my medicals on 17th June 2014 and no status update nor passport request yet.

Is there any page for the timeline after medical exam for applicant that are outside of Canada?
