Dear members - how are all of you doing? Thought of checking up on all of you. Did not get time at all for past month due to heavy office work as we had a customer delivery, and i Used to be dead tired after reaching home. Have been busy on weekend with office work and car driving classes. The winter was also very killing this time and travelling in buses, walking in snow is even more tiring.

This week, for the first or second time the temp has come above 0. Hope it improves from here on w/o any snow again. Very very fed up.

How is everyone? Dipan/Sid - have you guys made it to Canada?? I remember you were telling in April 1st week. No?

Dear Sharma ji- what status are you in the timeline? I am sorry, difficult to read all posts. I hope, you are almost at the end of the process and about to receive back visa.

Sidhuji - i think, better to make an Affaidavit incase you do not have birth-ceritifcate. But, can you check your municipality where you were born?? Because, now-a-days everyone is issuing computerized b-c. I too got mine recently, from Chennai where i was born. So, pls check it out.

Baaki sab theek hai.. waiting for my wife and kids to arrive - who are coming next week..!! I am busy in preparing house, buying house items etc - all doing w/o car and with some friends help (if items are big). It will be another 6 months when we fully settle.

Vineet bhai I got decision made on 24th march ...waiting for PP with so much awaiting. Maple leaf on it...I hope I will hold my PP in next week starting...

Good to hear that Sharmaji that you got DM..!! Now-a-days, i am seeing that even for returning pp, they are taking 7days+. Previously they were returning within 2 -3 days max. For eg., I got my DM on Friday eve and pp in hand on Monday.

Not sure, why they are delaying so much.... i am sure you will receive on Monday sharmaji and then its party time..!!!

the colombo office asked me for experience, education, ielts results and date of birth certificates copies.
I would really appreciate if anyone in this forum suggest where i will get date of birth certificate like municpal corporation or Mandal revenue office.
I already submitted my tenth class certificate along with my application.

Received RPRF on 28.03.2014 - Paid on same day.
Received MR on 28.03.2014 - Completing tomorrow i.e. 31.03.2014
Latest Bank statement & Balance certificate - Arranged & ready.
Clear photocopy of passport - Arranged & ready.
Birth certificate - Working & trying to get Non-Availability certificate asap.

Once i complete the above mentioned, what is next?

Birth Certificate issued by the Municipal Authority or any office authorized to issue Birth and Death Certificate by the Registrar of Births & Deaths is acceptable. The Birth Certificate should ordinarily contain the name of child, name of father and mother, date of birth, place of birth, sex, registration number and date of registration.
