Dear all - by grace of God, I received the magic stickers today for me and family.....!!!

Cant tell you how happy I am ... I couldnt control and cried a lot......

Thanks to all of your wishes.....

Got Visas and 8 copies of COPRs for each of us - me, wife and 2 kids. Visa valid till 18-Dec-2014 and its a Single entry Visa.

I really wish to God that all of the members here see the same day and experience this moment very soon... .

I would like to ask you something.

One of my friend who had done medical in Mar 2013 and submitted PP to NDVO. After that Immigration officer went on strike. In the mean time his son aged 18 years so he get email from NDVO in Nov 2013 that he needs to submitted PCC for his son and another 2 immigration form. As in March 2013 he has submitted PP so in Gujarat without PP there is no chance of PCC, so he sent email to provide some acknowledgement from NDVO that they have PP in their possession but no reply. So he has sent 2 immigration form and stamp document with saying that i am not convicted in crime. Even after that there is no reply from NDVO.

Question is will they issue MR in Mar 2014 as 1 year completed? Moreover how can we get some reply from NDVO. Its been a year he has submitted PP to NDVO.

Please guys give me your valuable suggestions.

Dipanbhai....This is indeed a long wait....If I were to be at your friend's place, i definitely would have tried visiting them personally by crook or hook because he has no way left. We now know how NDVO works for even straight cases and in case like this God only knows when he will get any response.

This is what i feel....folks please share your views, this will help poor guy....this is really fearful if I relate my case with him!!!

Dear Dipan - he can ask NDVO to give him back the pp for PCC purpose. They are very well aware that you need passport for PCC in India. So, they will send it back. Once PCC arrives, he can send back the PP+PCC.

They did like this for many cases. But, he needs to mention in the subject clearly that he needs passport back for PCC, then it will catch someone's attention and they will send it back.

yes he should request NDVO to at-lest give passports so that he can PCC with showing passport in passport office.
