Can you kindly share your experience with passport submission to VFS Chandigarh?

Did VFS give any timelines within which the passports will be returned?

What I like abt the new process is the addition of vfs services for passport submission atleast it takes some uncertainty away. But what I dislike is the absolute slow nature in how the whole system moves. This actually drains out every bit off patience left in you. If you see again ndvo and Colombo are gone in silent mode not much of any fresh updates to anyone. My last update is "medicals have been received" and have been waiting since. I hope this gets over soon. Tired of refreshing inboxes and spam folder.

due to dis embassy strike i joined my job back as nothing was hapening.
now yesterday i checked my ecas status,it says we have started processing your file on 19 July,also medicals hav been received.
thought would share wid all.nyone else having same status?

I did inquiry in my back about the DD Status and according to them this DD has been encashed from the Bank. I can see some positive things are happening.
At least now i won't have to reissue me DD and my file will not get delayed due to this reason.

Folks, today finally I received my passports back from NDVO, and yes they are stamped with the VISA!! I finally got the Maple Leaf shining VISA today. I would like to thank all of you for your support and guidance. These last two months were especially painful while we were waiting for the passports to come back.

I believe in-spite of the strike some people at the office are still working. I have been following various threads and I think at this time they are giving priority to Students whose session start in September. Once this rush is over they will pick up all our files. So guys just hang in there. "Ab Dilli Door Nahin...."

Request you kindly share, how did you receive your passports through Courier or India Post.

It would be a great help, if you could clarify all of us on the below points

1) Do they return the passport by Courier or India Post?
2) Do they send our application document packet also, which needs to be handed over to the Immigration officer at the airport in CANADA?
3) My RPRF & passport are gone along with medicals and RPRF en cashed & Ecas Status Medical Result Received? do you have any comment

Sent RPRF fee to delhi on Jul 16. Ecase status changed to In Process on Aug 15. I got a call from New Delhi on Aug 16. They said they sent a courier to my address, but the courier got returned to them. They said they will sent the courier again. They didn't mention what they sent. What courier service they use to send the documents? I would like to check with the courier company.
I really appreciate the replys.

I am new to this forum. I appreciate all members' prompt responses for all queries for each other. I would like to know that is there any news about strike? When it will be over? I came to know from my good friend that there is hearing on 21st Aug 2013. I hope all goes well and a long waited candidate sooner gets grace of landing in Canada.

For me,ask for extension of your ppr validation instead of asking n waiting for 2 PPR. That will be quicker... I assume they do nothing unless ur suit ur PP like verification n background checking...
