Timeline for Filipinos submitted pnp-pr applctions at CIO

Good morning po sa lahat!

Bago lang po ako sa forum ... But we are already processing our application. PNP-PR (SINP) CIO Sydney, Nova Scotia.
Actually, walang pagbabago sa E-CAS namin hanngang medicals result received lang po.

Pero we are already done with the RPRF payment pati pag-submit ng NBI clearance (na-expire po kasi kaya nag-submit ulit kami based from the e-mail reminder na natnaggap) namin. Sadya po bang hindi updated ang E-CAS?

6 months na from the time ng medical (Feb 2014) and 3 months na from RPRF payment date kaya medyo worried na din, nakaka-kaba po kasi ang waiting time. Dapat na po ba kaming mag-ff up through our representative.

Talaga po kayang bumagal ang processing ngayon kasi Summer nila at madaming bakasyon? Pampalakas-loob na lang po ang sana sa September mag-pick up na ang pag-process nila.

Better wait for input from tabs179 and others in Manitoba - I am in NS and 600meters is walkable as we have milder winters (900meters from where I reside and the nearest Tims....). In Manitoba, the winters are quite different, and it depends also on the trails/sidewalks/paths to walk to school.

sa November 3rd week ang plan namin pag may visa na. Sa Manitoba kami, winnipeg, andun kasi brother ko and they want us to stay sa house nila habang nag aadjust pa kami. Magkasing age kasi panganay namin.

Usually visa expiry date is 1 year from medicals received date. So look for your medicals received date + 1 year that is your usual expiry date. Of course if your passport expiry is much earlier than that date, then it (visa expiry) will follow the PP expiry date; CIC will never issue a visa exceeding the passport validity.

What do you mean by extensions?

Wala pa ring update sa ecas nami its been 2 months from the time we had our medical exam still no good news..cge lang monday pa naman we had the rest of the week sana meron na..God bless everyone...

Paging Ragluf and other seniors who are already in Canada...!

We will be moving to Canada mid October and been looking for place to stay + school in the web and asked our niece in Manitoba to check them out. As she does not have children yet so would like to ask opinions of forumers. Usually bus is provided kung medyo malayo ang place nyo sa school (1.6km dun sa isang school website). Isa sa options namin, 600 meters away from the house so di covered ng school bus. Kung sa Pinas, "walkable" distance. Kaso, pag winter, kaya pa ba or sobrang challenge yun at di advisable? Thanks in advance for your inputs/advice.

Unfortunately di kita mabigyan ng payo kasi first winter ko din. Hehe. It's starting to get cold now though. 10 degrees for today.

Anyway, I suggest you look for "Life of Peg" group on facebook. Some who openly give advise there has been here in Winnipeg for a long time. Mabibigyan ka nila ng mas akmang adivse.

Yung sa min ma'am, sa dami ng mga holidays, total number of days is 24. For sure, less than 30 days yan.. Start na mag-abang ng DHL van after the 15th day ng pagkakareceive ng passports nyo.. Pero meron din super bilis na less than 15 days naipapadala na..
