Good day to all,

Me and my wife are planning to apply in Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program. I Have some question regarding the process and your advice.

1. My wife is pregnant and her due is Feb 19, 2013. Shall we wait for our baby or we can already start the application?

2. We are in the process of completing the requirements? How long is the process if we submit the complete docs?

3. I have plans of transferring to other company next year after completing my 2 years in my company. Does it affect my application?

4. For Certificate of employement, the hospital that i had served for 2 years has already a new a management. I am afraid that when they call the office to verify they won't be able to see my employement record. What shall i do?

5. How fast is the online application? Anyone please give me an idea?

You mean Feb 2014. I recommend for you to apply now, 3 months is a lot to wait. Anyway, if you decided now to proceed with your application, you just need to inform them later on of your new baby. Just contact them by email and provide proof, like birth certificate, of your new-born baby.

If you will have a new employment, just update them by email and provide them some details.

If ever they will contact your previous employer and encountered problem with the new management, you could just politely write them an explanation about the new management.

Regarding US Visa, we do not have problem on this . Iam currently working in a US territory for 17 years and my family are with me hence we are holder of US Visa. I plan to resign this December and visit Philippines before immigrating to Canada.

Good to know you don't have issues travelling through the US. Generally going through the US is much cheaper as you have lots of alternatives - you are flying via Continental right? The main hindrance is the need for a transit visa.
