We had our MR May 14, 2013 and I was asked for additional docs Last week of June ata yun... New nbi clearance and police clearance from Thailand... Buti nalang my police clearance arrived early so I was ready to send it right away... so ngayon waiting parin... hmmmm

Hi drockers,

Ask ko lng sana if paano u naprocess ang police clearance mo in Thaialand?Nhirapan kasi akong kumuha kasi one of d requirements ng Royal Thai Police in Bangkok ay ung fingerprint ko na manggaling daw sa Thai local police or Thai embassy or from Philippine consulate. I went sa Phil.embassy, they can get my fingerprint but ung form ng NBI ang gamitin.I went to the Local police in my place,di daw cla pwedeng kumuha.Hay...

Hello forum mates,

Just want to share our landing experience. We landed last Aug 10 via PAL-Canada Air. From Naia terminal 2 I would say swerte kami kc hindi mahaba ang pila from checking in - immigration. Same thing happened pgdating sa Vancouver, wala masyado pila and mabait ung immigration officer nginterview sa amin. Go directly sa immigration office kung wala po masyado pila, you can pick up your baggages after. dont worry based sa experience namin hindi nman mawawala sa conveyor kahit hindi kunin kaagad. it will save you time especially kung may connecting flight pa kayo. kung mahaba nman ung pila pwede nyo na pickup ung baggages then kahit ilagay nyo lng sa tabi-tabi ;D

Overall it went smoothly. Mahaba nga lang ung travel time. Good luck po sa mga mglaland soon :)

salamat sir sa pag share ng experience sana maging smooth din un sa amin..

You just have to go to NBI to get your fingerprints. Iba yung pila just ask dun sa baba where you'll have to go to get the fingerprints. Don't forget to bring a copy of your letter that you are being requested to get a Thai police clearance by the canadian embassy. You have to fill up 3 finger print cards and have your fingerprints taken. After a week you will be claiming it at DFA near mall of asia as the DFA will have it authenticated. You will have to pay fees so bring money. Once you get it send it to the Royal Thai Police along with the request letter, your personal details and the date of your stay in thailand, plus your documents while staying in Thailand, birth certificate and marriage certificate if you're married. If you prefer fedex, purchase also a prepaid return of documents fee or if you're not in a hurry you can buy international stamps at the main post office building so that the Thai Royal Police will be able to send police clearance to you. Don't expect that you will get your documents back so just send photocopies except for the fingerprint cards. I applied for it early february and I got it by April. I kept on calling them to follow up my application. They were accomodating. You will get their contact number as soon as they email you that they have received your documents. Goodluck on getting your Thai Clearance.

Hi CondradFael,

Am still in Thailand but when I went to the Thai Royal Police Office last week I did not bring any fingerprints from NBI. I will just go to Phil.Embassy,Thailand and request it and come back. What do you mean by 3 sets of fingerprints?

Thanks so much for extending your help.
God bless.

Here are the lists of your requirements since you are residing in Thailand. (1) Passport with one photocopy (2)Document(s) certify that the applicant is working, used to work or residing in Thailand. (3) Thai Working permit (if available) with one photocopy. If you have all the requirements you may go to this address to get your thai police clearance: The Police Clearance Service Center, Building 24, Royal Thai Police Headquarters, Rama I, Pathumwan, Bangkok 10330. The fee is 100 baht. You can claim it in 2 to 3 weeks time. They are open Monday to Friday (Except Public Holidays), from 8:30AM – 4:30PM without lunch/break. Tell them that you need the English Thai Police Clearance just to be sure. The place is near Siam Square or Central World. I think you'll get there fast by sky train. I hope this helps. ;)
