goodluck to all. hello po. I just have some queries regarding the so called Security and Background check. Can you give me your experience for this background check. 1) Did CIC ask you for the fresh POF or they called your bank to confirm your Fund?. 2) Did CIC call all your employer to check your work experience. . Hope you could give me a clear picture regarding this issue.
More power and goodluck to your new endeavor. God bless

Hi,

If you as asking these in with respect to the PNP application process - there is no PoF check or work experience check. Vetting and admittance into the Provincial Nominee program is the responsibility of the Province; once you pass eligibility and is nominated, essentially, the Province "guarantees" to the Federal Gov't that it "has vetted and selected the nominee and is endorsing his/her application for immigration". Any "checks" happens in the Provincial level.

The Province has its own ways/criteria of evaluating an applicant, including criteria for evaluating Funds available to the applicant and security checks. This is not repeated again at Federal level. Mostly the criteria on Funds is not too strict - proof provided consists only of available bank certificates, loan documents etc. Most of the Provincial programs are economically-driven streams, in which a job offer is required as entrance criteria. This loosens the fund requirement for PNs - a job provides the funds in Canada. In cases where a job offer is not a requirement, there are other requirements (such as a sponsor...) who provides the "guarantees" for the immigrant.

/hope this helps....
