AbuDhabi ang VO ko...I already received a letter from London that they transferred my file to ADVO. I am still hoping it would be faster this time, keeping my fingers crossed!
Mas mabilis sa pinas ;D goodluck dear!

Hi ate tess, good to hear that you are almost done and will be soon flying out , we applied online and heard na mas mabilis sana nga ma approve n agad.

Hi Mayonnaise,

This is what I have from the instructions sent to me:

Payment of Right of Permanent Residence fees (RPRF) of CAD$490.00 or Php21,000 for yourself and if applicable, your accompanying spouse/common-law-partner. No RPRF payment is required for non-accompanying spouses/common-law-partners.

Payment must be made by means of a certified cheque, bank draft or manager's check issued within the last three (3) months from submission and made payable to "Canadian Embassy, Manila”. Cash is not accepted and fees in pesos are subject to change without prior notice so please visit our website for current fees.

Hello, just received an email from CEM and requesting for RPRF, what forms are going to use? thanks.

The RPRF can be submitted through courier to the Canadian Embassy or through the drop-box located at Basement 4 of the RCBC Plaza. For the Embassy address, refer to the upper right hand corner of this letter.

Suggest if you send the payment - use a courier. This way you have some tracking information.

/hope this helps

Hi guys just received thru email AOR from CEM and a request of RPRF pero walang MR. Ano pong form ang gagamitin for the RPRF, same din ba nung sa Application fee form. and also paki provide naman ng exact address sa CEM Manila if thru courier (and what courier u suggest dto sa Canada)_ mAraming salamat.

Hi Leila23,

This is actually another topic of discussion - what form to use for RPRF. In my first read, IMM5620 is much more suited for payment of the application processing fees - it may not serve the purpose for payment of RPRF. In other forums, some applicants just attach the manager's check to a piece of paper with the heading 'For Payment of RPRF'; they have some success with this. There are no specific instructions of forms to use - in any case, what is required is to identify properly what the payment/check is for. Suggest to call CIC to make sure.

In your emailed AOR - the address of CEM Manila is at the header of the email. For courier address I suggest use the actual Visa office address (instead of using the PO Box address which is the Makati City PO).

Embassy of Canada
Immigration and Visa Section
Level 6, Tower 2, RCBC Plaza
6819 Ayala Avenue
Makati City 1200
Philippines

Just make sure you reference your UCI or Application File No. (it is available now in your AOR) in everything you send now to CEM.

As for courier from Canada - my personal choice is CanadaPost using xpresspost - for convenience as the PO is nearby. Fedex is another choice, just make sure you get tracking on your parcels sent to CEM.

/hope this helps....

thank you very much ragluf for a very detailed answer.. God bless..

Anybody here has already attended the COA seminar sponsored by CIC last April 18? The speaker was fantastic and hilarious...never a dull moment... ;) ;D :)

Hahaha.. I bet you're pertaining to Serge Bisson and Sherryl(Not there but always in his mind - :-)). We had ours (COA) last Mar.21. We actually met Serge, Sherryl and their daughter somewhere in Alabang. Sherryl is really pretty. Ces't Cool

Hello everyone!

I sent my papers to my aunt in Manitoba last February 3, 2012 and she's not giving me any feedback regarding my application. :( Can you give me the time line for the whole processing, from application filed to CIC to stamping of visa? Thanks a lot! :)
