Hi cebugirl, thank you for your reply.. in the status of our application the last line there is medical results received, there's no date when was that, does this mean we will start counting from the date our application was processed or from the date we completed the requirements, CEM required an additional document and we submitted it last oct 2013? it is on our status that they started proccessing our application last june 2013.

Oh okay, you are near there. The 12-month processing is their overall timeline. A little wait and it should already over. You can check the 2013-2014 tracking sheet link on my signature so you have an idea. Caveat though, the process last year was faster.

Feeling blessed - finally received MR last Thursday, 17th April - 190 days (6 months & 8 days) after CIC received our application.
We had our medical today (e-result expected in 2-3 days). Thank God for this blessing! On to the next stage of the waiting game

12-Apr-13 SP2 sent
29-Apr-13 SP2 receipt acknowledgement

As first time immigrant, is it true that your point of entry is only in Vancouver or Toronto? Is it possible to land somewhere else? Thank you!

Yes you may, provided the port of entry (PoE) has immigration services for landing. Vancouver, Montreal and Toronto international airports are popular PoEs as they are large international hubs and cater to many inbound flights. Most international flights do make their entry into Canada via these airports.

Ihuhulog lang po ba sa dropbox sa rcbc sa makati indicating at the box your name?thanks

If you’re comparing my timeline to you mas mabilis ang sa iyo…at exactly 5 months ng application mo you already done medical exam, compare to mine after 10 months dun palang nag request ng medical. Don’t worry yours is already “In Process” at DM/PPR na ang next…PATIENCE IS THE KEY HERE!!!ganyan tlaga if ur waiting for something..nakaka buang..rest assured by the end of the month you will receive yours ‘PPR’ just give your trust in HIM!

DECISION MADE (A decision has been made at this point.) Medical Results Received by CIC We have received your medical results. We will contact you only if additional tests are needed. Approval Status Determined Your application will be either approved or rejected. We will inform you of the decision in writing. Permanent Residence Status Determined If your application is approved, we will send you your permanent resident documentation and a letter saying what we need to finalize your permanent residence.

Ask ko pala kung meron dito nag-register sa CIIP kamakaylan? Nag-register ako doon sa site, pero wala akong makitang schedule. Gusto ko sana mag-attend sa May, nasa Manila ako noon.

Nagtanong na ako last week through email na nasa website pero wala pang sagot hanggang ngayon.

Yup - ako manager's check ang gamit ko nun. Ang ginawa dun nun (as per instructions na natanggap ko) ipinalalagay sa likod ang mga pangalan ng applicante. Pero naniguro din ako kaya ang ginawa ko, kasama ng isang cover letter at nakapaloob dun ang mga checks.

Narinig ko sa ibang threads wala na yata ang dropbox simula ng taon na ito sa Makati. Nevertheless, hindi advisable na mag dropbox lalo na me payment / check included. Always use a courier at me tracking, para traceable at alam mo nasaan na ang RPRF payment. Me proof ka pa na transmitted na sa CEM, at sila na ang me kasalanan kung mawala o ma-misplace nila. Anything involving money matters - make sure traceable ito. Meron na before na nagsabi namisplace ang transmittal ng RPRF kaya na delay ang decision, pero dumaan din sa agent yun, kaya di sigurado kung saan nangyari ang aberya.

Suggestion ko - maglagay ka ng cover letter, then ilakip mo ang check kasama ng cover letter, at ilagay mo din ang details ng check (serial number, amount, bank etc.) sa cover letter, at ilagay sa envelop bago ipadala by courier. Siguraduhin sa labas ng envelope makikita ang CID/File Number mo.

Tapos, after ilang weeks wala ka pa naririnig, "sundutin" mo by sending CEM a notice na naipadala na ang payment - send it via email and include mo ang tracking, sino nag-receive, kelan na-receive, at copy ng cover letter at check mo. Patunay na wala na hinihintay sa iyo at nasa kanila na ang bola.
