Thanks for that information Ragluf... We're on our 43rd day of waiting to our PPR since Medical Received sa ECAS last October 29..

Meron ba dito sa forum na ito na nag renew ng passport before landing in Canada ? Yung valid immigrant visa NASA old passport. I am planning to attach it together. May maging problema kaya sa immigration?

Usually this is the longest period in the application process, from MR to getting PPR. Here is a brief info guide on the application process from the CIC website: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/provincial/next_steps.asp
If your brother was not requested for submission of updated/additional docs and only was requested for IME and have completed this, barring any other requests from the VO - he should be prepared to wait anywhere from 3~5 months, in some cases it may be more than that. Use the processing times as published here to gauge the time he has to wait: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm/provincial.asp

Applications in the PH are averaging 11months - but that is based on 80% of cases processed up to Sept 30, 2012.
