Timeline for 2012 applicants

Hello everyone,

I applied for citizenship in June 2012. My online status changed to in process in Dec 2012. I am waiting since then. It has not been updated to File transferred to local office.

I am not sure if CIC updates with that message. Anyone who applied in 2012 please update.

I am also in June 2012 file is in process from Nov 2012, still waiting.

But I received an RQ request. So i guess mine is gonna take a little bit longer.

Sorry to know about RQ for you. Do you know the reason for RQ? any visits to US?

Thank you TST and office. I called and was told that file can go to any office in GTA which has less work load. Nearest for me is Mississauga. I am sure what ever God has is store for me that will happen and at that time but sometimes waiting for a process to be over is painful.

I wish things move quickly for everyone.

So you called to call Centre and someone said that they will transfer your file to any location in GTA ?
I never heard like this, if you live in Mississauga or near by your local office will be Mississauga they can not transfer to Scarborough.

Yes that was told to me

Nothing about the test date not even if my file was transfered to local office. I hope everyone is clicking on In process and checking the status. Because sometimes we can just logout after seeing in process.

Tst they are transferring files now a days, mine transferred from Mississauga to St.Claire like few other forum members, even Windsor & hamilton

Siki when i called Cic, they refused to give any reason that why file was transferred to St.Claire.

Yes the latest trend is if you get RQ in GTA they will transfer it to St Clair !!

Maybe those are the small changes in Admin Mr Jason Kennedy was talking about on Twitter. It seems there are more staff in St.Claire, so hopefully all this issues will be resolved soon..Sure no one is comfortable with the bad publicity they are getting on Twitter, it exposed to everyone around the world what is happening with Canadian citizenship ..... so am sure they are working on it like very very fast...though it doesnt look like this outside.... really wish we could get inside Info... I must say you guys are really doing a good job on Twitter! Keep it up Mary Chad!
