I'm a foreign worker who has received a job offer and the company just started the LMIA process. Since there is not a prevision for how long it takes to get a decision, I decided to share my timeline, which is going on yet, as information for anyone in future. If anyone had been through this before, please share with us your experience and timeline, thank you.

NOC: 2174 (Computer programmers and interactive media developers)
Job Offer signed: July 11th
Job Post on Job Bank: July 12th
LMIA Submission: August 10th
LMIA approval: waiting

Hey why is there a month long gap between job offer signed and LMIA submission.
Did you get positive LMIA? Duration?

Hi, I'd like to know some more details if possible:

1. Employer province?
2. Positive LMIA date?
3. Was it too difficult for your employer to complete the forms and get all the needed docs?
