I am seeking for your advice. I have read different views and comments about timeline and processing on Buffalo office. i would really appriciate if anyone can give us some advice please.
this is our timeline. i just wanted to know if this is normal ? should we contact the buffalo office ??

Application sent it CIO, Sydney - February, 2010.
Request for application to be sent to Buffalo, NY - March,2010.
Application sent and recieved by visa office - May 12, 2010.
2nd AOR recieved from Buffalo office with a new file number - August 13, 2010.
the rest is waiting.....for its more than 5 months.

please advice us if it is normal or should we contact the buffalo office ??? Thank you so much for all your help.

I believe you should call the office in Buffalo.
I sent thr application CIO on April 2010 and got only a letter that they received my file, nothing else. I do not know why?
I am applying from USA too.

Current processing times at Buffalo are 17 months from the date of the AOR. It can be a while before you receive a decision from them.

From what we see in this forum as well trackitt, I think it's so normal, don't overwhelm yourself, it's very likely for the journey to be lengthy.
