Then we can guide you appropriately.

I have not heard from anyone that CIC conducts BG checks after passport request.

Please also share the email you received from your respected visa office.

Apply under Provicial nominee program for manitoba , Medical date 10 september 2014 submit passport on 3rd oct 2014. now wating and waiting and wt i got reply from them (Please be advised that our office has received you documents, however, we are currently awaiting the results for routine background checks before we proceed.)

It appears that we are on the same boat!

My Ecas is also showing 'In Process'.

How long did it took them to reply to your enquiry and how many emails did you send?

Basically BG checks are carried out by various agencies not by CIC, therefore once they send a clear report only then your Visa officer will proceed with the decisioning process.

They have just recently changed their way of procedures, previously they used to send passport request after Background and security clearance and now they seems to be sending Medical request together with passport request. Did you get it together as well??

Would you mind sharing the initials of your visa officer?

Ok.

Mine is also EFL, we are under the impression that those whose cases got delayed were dealt by EFL.

Don't worry there were many people on this thread who had to wait a lot after passport submission but everything worked out fine in the end so fingers crossed and hope for the best.

You mean 'sent only one e-mail' right? I have sent 3 emails enquiries but they havn't responded to any of them?

i am afraid about politics of our country as riots and rampas in lahore faisalandad and islamabad is not good for our immigration. These type of movement may leave bad impact on vo. i have a little bit prove, six moths ago, processing timing for pakistan in cic webside was 48 months but now it has been increased up to 49 months. i consulted this matter to my friend who is in canada, he told me canadian are not happy with pakistan internal affair. so it was my judgment, is anyone have soem knowledge about it .
