Time to lend in Canada after after got immigration visa

Hy, I got mail from Vienna visa office that I need to send passport, pictures... and they wrote that after I got visa in my passport I need to lend in Canada before my medical examination is still valid. I took medical exam on 29.4.2015. and that mean that I need to lend on that date next year, and this is very little time for that big change. I got information that I have 11 months after they issue visa. What information is correct?

Its either expiry date on your passport or expiry date of your medical, whichever comes first. So yes, you will need to land before the COPR expires which could most likely be April 30, 2016. That's sufficient time. You can land and go back to wind up everything. You need to make sure you have your PR card before landing again.

Congrats on the approval!! How long did it take from application to the passport request? (I'lll be applying in Vienna too) Do you have to send in the original passport?

They ask me for papers in march 2014, medical in April 2015 and passport a few days ago. But I have sister on the same application, and she got request for medical a few months later. I thing that if we got request for medical in same time, that I will wait less then 7 months. She wait 4 months.

Just another question, can I be out of Canada to receive PR card, or I need to be in Canada?
